Not quite sure how this got to be such a big win. An open battlefield, I attacked hard on the left flank which was mounted v mounted and won decisively. Light guns proved useful. When the infantry clashed I got lucky in the initial hits on the Pole's leading war wagons, killing a general and disrupting one on contact when odds were slightly in their favour.

This was a rather rough map with long steep hills on my opponents side and fortifications on mine. Both sides ended up advancing upon the other but spread out wide across the entire breadth of the map. In these dispersed conditions reinforcement would be difficult and the three 'battlegroups' largely had to fend for themselves. The Arab irregular foot struggled against my powerful impact foot. Likewise due to my small number of cavalry the advantage of camels in disorganising opposing cavalry was irrelevant and they did not prove very useful in the rough terrain.
