A bloody affair fought in the shadows of a volcano that dominated one flank of the battlefield. The Germanic Horseman trailed in the contest for the first 22 turns and was effectively hanging on for a draw. A desperate effort late in the game to force victory by the Ptolemaic forces failed and the Germanic horse tribes were able to exploit the situation for a last turn victory. Most remarkable event in the battle was a prolonged fight in the woods. 4-5 units on each side, mix of warbands, cav and skirmishers. A couple of units on both side fragmented early on.
