here is another result.
A win for the French. Some targeted bow fire, and catching some welsh in the open, gave me a good start which I was able to hold on to.

Mcfcivos Byz 54/58 defeated Emilianos Catalans 60/51 (93%/100%), in a nail biter, anyone's game till the last turn when the Catalan Light inf got bottled up against their camp....very messy!!

germans thought they were going down against the hords of superior MF and knights... but managed to throw enough junk at the crumbling right flank to hold things together long enough to collaps the center.

great battle until the last couple turns when the center imploded (just in time!)

Man, I was behind most of the game in lost units compared to him! Those Hussite superior knights and armored foot are TOUGH! I appreciate the game Sir, I'll do a rematch with you anytime!

Hordes of Welsh archers had me running scared for a while, then the dominos started falling in the Welsh backfield. OUCH! He really needed TONS more terrain for all those foot of his, it was rough!

Santas won 17/57, Welsh 57/56, for 30/100%.

Edmund and I just started our game, big horde armies........his though has TONS of cavalry...........gotta be careful!

A shattered army saved from defeat by a fragged unit looting the enemy camp! Thanks for a very close game Ian.
Edmund's Albanians 38/60 40% defeat mcfcivo's Byzantines 59/58 100%
Another tight game where the lancers were badly served by the dice and the Albanians fighting for the Byzantines seemed to be secretly fighting for Albania. Thanks for a challenging game.

Superior numbers allowed the mobile Byzants to flank the Hussite War Wagons.

Boy oh boy does he have a speedy army! We felt like the tortoise chasing the hare around!!! When his cavalry do get into melee, they sure do grind you down.....

Santas 21/57, Albanians 62/60, for a 37/100%.

Thought he had me for sure, glad I tucked my right flank back a bit so he couldn't scoot around! He still got my camp though, that end of the line was crumbling when we finished up.

klayeckles (later germans) 31/60 vs edmund_blackadder (albanians) 64/60

started out with the albanians taking the lead and having a set up and strategy designed to catch the germans in the rear..and it worked. also the german left was faltering fast, which would give the albanians free reign to hit the german flank. but the germans scraped up enough units to plug the hole...even tossing women and children in the gap, and it was enough...soon the german phalynx was pushing forward in the center and chewing up the albanians badly. once the albanian forces were wittled down the chances for catching german troops in the flank dwindled, and the cavalry just wasn't a match for the german heavy inf. the last three turns of the battle saw the albanians desintigrate at almost no cost to th e germans. great effort..espcially given the inferior weapons the albanians brought to the battle... fun game!
