Battle with morge in the middle... I've invited him to set up a time so we can finish this up quick.

I have to report that the last Russians (under my order) have been ousted from Moscow by Random's troops.
Hard blow for the Reds team (including myself) but remember that Napoleon have taken Moscow and lost the war...

Thanks for the report but sorry for your luck my friend.
Situation and map updated. Soviet army group center is in serious trouble now. The North seems out of reach for both sides...it appears that the last turn will focus mainly on Stalingrad.

Morge and I are still off 9 or 10 turns so we decided to call it a draw so we can all continue with the Campaign.

Yikes. How do we play the map now with the centre completely overrun?

I propose to to transfer the capital to Leningrad

Seeing as the center has effectively collapsed...Leningrad is out of reach (as is the Reich)...the only contested area that counts for victory now is Stalingrad.
So what I propose is one last battle (maybe on a custom map?) for Stalingrad. The German players would need to win the majority of battles there to capture.
Thoughts?

Any shot we could get Amaris' map for it? Really the only thing close to a "Stalingrad". Will we do like a mass game of it and then add up victory markers? Maybe have a certain number in mind for the Germans to effectively "capture" Stalingrad? Just thinking of a way everyone gets to play in Stalingrad. Could give it that larger scale feel too.

My thoughts exactly. I'll look into the map and we can continue with the same forces (it will mean a download). Should make for an exciting ending.
Anyone else have any other ideas?

I'm not sure to understand well, but I was thinking to some battles of stalingrad, all player who can play, with same kind of city maps, in same time.
If it's not a good plan, say me

I've been working toward a 'scenario' based on the Amaris map for Stalingrad. The forces will be balanced (roughly the same number and types of units with the same force purchasing ability).
The Soviets will have a slight advantage in defences and one starting objective. Each match will see two Generals fighting for the most objectives. At the end of each battle, the winner will report back here with the Objective count for their battle.
The side with the most Objectives at the end, wins.
Make sense? Any concerns?

All for Stalingrad slugfest with hope OB and terrain will reflect close-quarter brutality of actual battle (ok we are a year early). To that end would love to see Enric's mods used--esp fortifications and snipers.

Alas, my knowledge of utilizing Enric's mods is limited...so we'll be sticking to the same OOB that we've been using for the tournament...but it will certainly be a grand battle!
Situation updated...scenario should be available this weekend.
Generals, please PM your FM before then to let them know that you are still available to play (German generals...please let me know).

I think I've heard from all of my generals that I will (not sure where the others went, captured perhaps).
Anyway...the map is all ready to go. I'll need the list of Soviet generals still in and will then post the matches (Soviets are defending so the Germans should get the match ups...let me know anyone has logic against that).

Thanks guys. Ok, so it looks like while all the Soviet generals are back we now have offset numbers. If one Soviet general is willing to flip sides, we'll have 5:6 ( I can play an extra game).
First one who is willing and responds will be fully commissioned in the Wehrmacht.
Let us know and we can then begin.
