With the skirmishers rushing forward and stopping just out of firerange the armies stood on their Hills waiting for the other army to start an assault. The Generals decided that this was not the day to fight an uphill battle so the lads that do the actual fighting got a day off. A draw without bloodshed, that should be rewarded extra, reality is we earn less credit.

Nijis (Palmyrans) defeated Cunningcairn (Dacians) 47-9.

Dacians tried to envelope the smaller Palmyran force, but rough terrain on the flanks made this tricky and the Palmyran middle, spearheaded by legionaries, were able to overcome the enemy warbands. A good game.
