Thanks for an interesting game. The manouvarability of the Sassinads payed off in this battle. The Romans started well but once their Sarmatian allies were dealt with there was no strike force left to chase down the Sassinads.Well played all the same. Cheers Turk

A well deserved win - next time I need to keep my guys closer together facing a more mobile enemy. Slight correction though - you won the initiative hence that great plain that your cavalry so enjoyed!

Managed to get numerical superiority in the main clash between my Romans and lancers vs Dominate Romans and cataphracts.
My somewhat weak right flank consisting of MF(and later a lancer) managed to hold their own against a stronger force of MF plus a couple of cavalry.
Ergo, a win for Bosporan
