question:
I wanted to make special units, HQ type of structures that defend themselves like bunker or fortress, and these objectives are really interesting ... as Hitler's bunker. or the monastery of Monte Cassino ....
I do not know which buildings, I can build, for allies and axis.
ideas, suggestions?

Your work is outstanding! Thanks for sharing it that freely. A humble suggestion. Would it be possible to build a 'factory' unit? Your excellent factory tiles are wonderful, but not destroyable. A factory unit would enable missions like: Destroy the krasny octobr factory in Stalingrad or the factories in Coventry (1940 The Blitz) or even defend against Operation Gomorrha. I'm not too shure about the last one. Have to experiment with intelligence of AI some more. What do you think about it?

Grateful for your efforts,
Nils

thanks nils
your idea is really good. I can reuse the factory as a unit, we can put on hexes destroyed city (terrain). when the unit's factory is destroyed, we find a hexagon of ruins.

But in addition to factories, I wanted to think about some important structure. palaces, castles, barracks ... or any place where the enemy generals can rush to defend themselves and shoot.

would be interesting?

Axis fort 2 would be better with just the circular case mate showing and the gun facing directly right or left, not off center like it currently. If you looking for examples look at: Oscarsborg Fortress, Maginot Line Ouvrages and Turrents.

Also for the US you might want to look up Disappearing coastal gun

The most important, IMO, is terms of working with units, is to maintain the original size scale.
If you're not reducing the size, it's fine for me. Three figures is the ideal and four the limit, IMO.

a bit of time to waste ..
I tried to make the classic modular mountains hexagonal for boardgames.
the visual effect is not great, but it might be handy for those who want to make multiple layers of mountains.
this is a system that can be evolved and improved.
what do you think?
