i hope this will be solved with the new mechanic i will be implementing in the cause of next year.robman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 14, 2022 1:24 pm I agree that the "Landing" scenario is surprisingly difficult. Even as an experienced player, it took multiple attempts before I figured it out. The main difficulty is the size of the enemy air force. In the preceding scenario, if memory serves, you have three auxiliary fighters, but in the Landing scenario you have none, while facing an enemy air force of roughly the same size as before.
You will be able to move units from the map into reserve, so u can deploy others. This has become possible with the latest AO44 update.
Especially for airforce this is very easy to use. u can then start maps with more fighterplanes and once u have airsuperiority move fighters into reserve and deploy bombers.
i am not sure if this can be made usefull for ground units as well since it takes way longer to move them across a map, but still testing and playing around with that.
some of the maps of the 2nd halve of 1943NH will have this feature. feel free to feedback/give ideas on that.
i usually go with 1AA 2-3 fighters and several BF that will dogfight until airsuperiority.
