I haven't checked out the DLC yet, so maybe has already happened, but it would be nice to have dunklegelb (or however you spell that) for Germans

You almost had it. DunkELgelb. Literally: dark yellow.Korvessa wrote: Thu Feb 10, 2022 6:53 pm I haven't checked out the DLC yet, so maybe has already happened, but it would be nice to have dunklegelb (or however you spell that) for Germans

Thats entirely down to the designer and will be done or not for gameplay reasons. The game isn't coded to automatically change the camo at a certain date and to be honest, thats not what happened historically. Paint takes a long time to manufature and deliver. Then the red and green is added randomly at the front. Plus the orders for non-armoured vehicles was slightly different. So the reality is for a transition period of many months.Korvessa wrote: Thu Feb 10, 2022 6:53 pm I haven't checked out the DLC yet, so maybe has already happened, but it would be nice to have dunklegelb (or however you spell that) for Germans

With the General Edition you can do both.GomezAdams wrote: Fri Feb 11, 2022 1:19 pm Sorry if I am not understanding, but:
If we buy the General edition, do we get access to all those camos and insignias as we play through any regular campaign and / or a scenario?
Or do we have to design our own scenario or campaign that allows us to use them?
No its not but that A-20 seems to be wrong. Thanks for highlighting it.asuser wrote: Fri Jun 10, 2022 5:54 am Is it possible to customize the insignias for the US aircraft (fighter/bomber)?
As an example, the P-40 fighter is shown left next to the A-20 bomber and with the US-Fuselage-1944 insignia. The fighter has the correct placement of the insignia, the bomber has the insignia incorrectly attached also to the right wing and tail. These positions were mostly empty, otherwise squadron markings or numbers were shown on the tail of the bomber.

Sure, I'll see what I can add. I can't say when they'll be available though as I've no idea when the next update will be going out.Bigfritze wrote: Wed Feb 22, 2023 8:12 pm Thanks for making all these great camos! I just got the General Edition upgrade and am very impressed with the variety of patterns. They will make playing hot-seat with my kids a lot easier.
Is there a way that I can get or make some really bright infantry camos? Obviously throwing historical accuracy and common sense out the window, I am looking for something to help my kids quickly and easily to tell our units apart from each other. We have plenty of options for that now for our vehicles, planes, and artillery, but I can't find a good way to align our infantry camos with our preferred vehicle camos.
While my son and I do pretty well using summer and desert camos to tell our units apart, my daughter has a harder time (she is only 7). Even the pride camo, which she likes, doesn't stand out enough to grab her eye quickly. She would really benefit from a very bright color for her infantry. Something like the garish but for our purposes very effective "Camo - pink" or "Faction colour cyan - colour blind friendly".

AOSCW starts with 3x TB. They have the Orange camo.RVallant wrote: Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:01 pm Stupid question but what is the Tactical bomber default camo for AO?
They're like orange, but when I check the camo list, the 'default' is actually supposed to be the usual German Grey.
RLM 62 over 63, the skin is manually set to that one and not default, you can check it in the editor. The He 70 Rayo uses RLM 02 over light grey.dalfrede wrote: Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:52 pmAOSCW starts with 3x TB. I have not purchased any TB during AOSCW so I don't know If they default to the Orange.
It is possible to change defaults on the fly, ie to Winter, to Desert, ...
Kerensky will often give certain models with important roles anachronistic camo so they can be more easily distinguished.RVallant wrote: Mon Mar 13, 2023 10:01 pm Stupid question but what is the Tactical bomber default camo for AO?
