Halvralf wrote: Mon Nov 26, 2018 9:09 am So I am wondering, since Sandstorm bunkers and foxholes have no ZoC. Is that intended or a bug?
The effect was quite a surprise and if I am not mistaken it was only meant to affect over unmovable hexsides?

So if thats so then it is a bug right? 8)
For me it is a bug.
If you do not want ZoC, you can always add "noZOC" in the unit traits

Stage n°1 :
- Copy the Endsieg folder in Documents>My Games>Order of Battle - WW2>Campaigns>
- Launch the Editor -> Campaign Editor
- files
- Load the campaign

Stage n°2 :

Stage n°4 :
Normally you need to copy-past the new file campaign.cmz in the game folder (make a backup of the original file).
Hello Mr Terminator. It's Bruno the French guy. I follow your tuto step by step but I'm stuck on overwrite. Apparently he does not want to overewrite. Version 64 bits 7.1.4 You can reply in French if you want. Thanks.

Found bug, which prevents the player from creating a scenario and campaigns in line with historical realities, because in the game there is no date of the 31st day of the month in many cases
In this particular I'm not able to set the correct start date of the battle of Kiev in 1941

Dates: as far as I have tested it myself, the 31st works for January-July, but the following months not. It rather keeps alternating after July.

Another mistake in Blitzkrieg. Moscow 1941 no text, German language, triggers not included in the text for the scenario

The following issues were labeled as "Resolved" today in the bugs database:

Missing GUI buttons on the Main Screen and in the Campaign Editor
Sandstorm DLC does not load
PanzerLehr spec wrong pic name
Unable to create a game replay
Editor 7.1.4 issues (alliance color/nation flag mismatch)
Place names incorrectly displayed
ES Anzio - Spawn Unit but no Target Hex
EndSieg Market Garden Glitch
ES 01 Donbass
ES 02 Op. Rumyantzev
ES 09 Paris (incorrect turn for holding Paris win)
Entwicklung Series Specialisation Error
Panther in 1st scenario Endzieg

How they were resolved, and if/when a patch will be issued to fix these bugs is unknown to me. I will keep you posted as progress is reported in the bugs database.

More updates:

ES 09 Moscow (missing Event Popup details) - Resolved. "I removed the popup/text in question completely as it has non-critical info that is present otherwise (objective overview)"
Photo event missing in Kiev after Soviet recon plane is shot down - Resolved.
Date Issue (scenario editor confusion with 31st day) - Resolved. "There was indeed an issue with setting dates in scenario editor."
Battle of Britain is out of order - Resolved. (I'll test this baby personally tonight. Last time, it was just a matter of downloading the new version of this mod. We'll see. )

They're still working on Advanced Aeronautics and Unit Issues 7.1.4. but there's been some feedback. Other issues not listed here have not been addressed yet.

What does it mean "resolved"?
Suppose that this bugs are "resolved" by devs and the fix will be available soon?
Because I download this mod once again and it still doesn't work...

Well, the issue with B.oB. still isn't resolved either. I've done three fresh installs and it still doesn't work. I had one of my tech buddies come out and checked all the files and he uninstalled it again and reinstalled it but still no B.oB. I kind of liked playing that mod in between others. Especially on the hardest difficulty. Please don't forget about this?????

I asked them a question about BofB through the feedback capability in the bug database. Basically, whether a fixed BofB will be available soon as a download from the Community Crate or whether it will have to wait for a future patch. I'll let you know if and when they respond.

Well, there seems to be quite a misunderstanding - resolved means a fix is available *internally*, but not *publically*.

Bugtracker is a primarily a tool for the various people working on this.

They can't do a game patch or update for every single issue that is fixed, so in certain intervals, when enough issues have been dealt with there will be a patch or update that is released, and that includes those changes.

Once that is available it will be posted together with the usual info thread.

Hello. I have the same problem with French language. I translate Englis language to French language and I added the missing line. I controlled all the campaigns !!! For you (google translator)
event_trigger_31_81_title = HOLD THE LINE
event_trigger_31_81_text = The Soviets are throwing everything they have into the defense of Moscow
In german language
event_trigger_31_81_title = BLEIBEN SIE DRAN
event_trigger_31_81_text = Die Sowjets werfen alles, was sie haben, in die Verteidigung von Moskau
You have to check when on your own, even if the translation is accurate, it's the best I can do. Greetings.

Yes, I specifically said above "How they were resolved, and if/when a patch will be issued to fix these bugs is unknown to me." No one should be expecting an instantaneous patch for each issue or even any patch at all before the next DLC update, necessarily. I am merely trying to give the community some sense that there is a process at work to resolve issues and that progress is being made. If there are any more misunderstandings, however, I will allow matters to revert to their former silence around here.

Hi, and here's the translation with DeepL, which is more accurate and better than Google's:
event_trigger_31_81_title = hold the line
event_trigger_31_81_text = The Soviets throw everything they have into the defense of Moscow.
The problem is simply that the trigger is not present in the German text file.

How about:
event_trigger_31_81_title = HALTEN SIE DIE STELLUNG
event_trigger_31_81_text = Die Sowjets setzen alle verfügbaren Reserven (/ Streitkräfte) zur Verteidigung Moskaus ein.

God, I hope you're wrong on this. I'm definitely expecting a patch WAY before the next DLC in half a year or so.

There always will be misunderstandings. That's why language was invented... :)

Gabe, as you know, I'm trying to fill a vacuum here. Why, I don't know.

But say you bought Endsieg recently, paid good money for it, then logged on here and saw how many issues other players had posted about it including one or two that you had noticed on your own. Wouldn't you want somebody to say that they are being looked at and progress is being made?

Remember the bug about planes not being able to fly over the Great Wall of China in Morning Sun, introduced with Sandstorm update? We had to wait until Endsieg update for that to be fixed and it never was mentioned anywhere that it was. (I checked; they fixed the terrain.csv file.) Why does it have to be this way around here?

I thought by relaying some comments from the bug database, it would allay concerns somewhat. Apparently that was wrong and I misspoke. Instead, they prefer "Once that is available it will be posted together with the usual info thread," with no feedback for the up to six months of silence that you mention.

Gabe, I've been sizing you up as forum moderator. Would you be interested in the job, taking my place? Please PM me if so and we'll arrange it.
