Slitherine

Will there be Italian commanders? I hope so. Field Marshal Giovanni Messe would be excellent. He was an East Front vet and last commander of the Italo-German Army in Africa. For air commanders Luigi Gorrini would be a good one.

I am looking forward to this expansion and I am keeping my fingers crossed we get more Italian expansions. Thanks Aristocrats!

I'm following the beta. Remember that I am not an official sharing in profits when I tell you that Sandstorm looks varied, intense, challenging, and loads of fun and that's with it still in development!

Personally I'm a complete PC dummy so it's no use me applying to be a Sandstorm tester if it involves doing geeky stuff.
However if the devs care to drop a pre-release version in my lap and say "Test that" without having to do any fancy twiddling I'd be happy to put in 10 hours a day playtesting it 7 days a week and making suggestions, comments and divine spiritual insights etc..
PS- I've been on the Matrix Press Reviewers list for years, they send me games to review for the internet wargaming community so I'm pretty experienced at putting games under the microscope, and I'm also currently on the Armed Assault III 'Towards Berlin' playtesting team.

Aristocrats please post new units list and scenario list... I cant wait!!!

I would be really interested to know if the second half of the campaign will be a "what-if" style like Japanese campaign or it will be more historical style like PanzerKrieg.

One of you asked for "new units list and scenario list" but that cannot be done while the campaign is still in early beta because things may change in the meantime. For example, there was healthy debate over even just the name of one of the scenarios!

So patience is a virtue, considering that Sandstorm is getting better each and every day over in beta. I can't wait, but I can, you know what I mean?

Also, to my knowledge there has been no announcement or newsletter e-mail about Sandstorm sent out by The Artistocrats and Slitherine yet.

Bah, forums are dead and nothing to kill time with at work cuz of the beta!
