The fight between Romans and Pontics is raging furiously, expecially on the two flanks, where the main actions are taking place, while in the center a lull in the battle seems to prevail at the moment ...
The result now is Romans 23% vs Pontics 25%
Nik and his Pergamenes can still hope to win the tournament!

In the meanwhile the Romans find themselves trapped in a deadly situation with the Seleucids ...

Here in Pergamos our temples are full of people praying for the victory of the glorious Roman army.

Roman Impact foot is proving to be too much. My previous 4 wins made me arrogant and I pushed way too far forward and ended up sitting in front of a hill with Romans upon it. I am going to have to pull yet another rabbit out my hat if I am to win.....

I have pretty much lost the Roman game. Its going to end next turn somewhere around 27-30 percentage points in favour of the Romans. I'll end the tournament 4-1 but with much worse tie breakers than Nik. So unless Lysimachos can score an insane win over Seleucid, looks like the crown goes to Nik!

Lysimachos is going to loose his game vs the Seleucids so the Pergamene people can feast in their temples and rejoice for the mighty and mercifulness of their Gods!

(still have to understand how the Romans are able in this game to crush the phalanxes, though in real warfare it seemed to happen quite regularly ...) :?

The peaceloving people of Bythinia and it's even more pacifist Army wish Pergamene Leadership many congratulations and look forward to a happy period of subjugation where an army much more worthy of the name will be responsible for the defence of the region leaving our forces to pick flowers and strum guitars, an activity to which they are much better suited. :D

Finally the Roman army managed to vanquish the fierce and valiant Pontic soldiers after a bloody melee with a result of 61-38.

The Pergamenes are now just one span away from victory, given the fact the the Seleucids are in the meantime badly mauling the Romans in the last battle of the tournament.

The last battle of the tournament is finished with an ignominous defeat of the Romans by the hand of the Seleucids, who won 53-24 with their phalanxes crushing every resistence of the spineless legionaries ...

All the glory goes to:

NIKIFIROSFOKAS

and his Pergamenes

WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT
