This can be one of the most useful application of a general unit. +50 PoA isn't small but it isn't game breaking. On the other hand there are a large group of unit types that require them to be at steady morale for any PoA bonuses to kick in. IIIRC, all spears and pikes are dogmeat to almost any unit type if they are disordered or fragmented. There are a lot of -ve modifiers out there though so you have be smart in terms of understanding which units deserve the personal attention of a general and which ones to write off.

Thanks that's what I thought. Just like the tt rules it is important to keep spear and pike in good order.
