Hello nikivdd.
I just wanted to thank you for this wonderful mod.
I posted the full AAR here: viewtopic.php?f=145&t=71210&p=870880

Some comments:
- I really liked the slightly changed equipment file - nothing changed drastically, but the slight changes to familiar equipment are good and much needed.
- Pre Barbarossa scenarios are enjoyable, but quite easy - turn limit is generous and you get so much prestige that you can buy everything you want and also freely spend It on reinforcements and overstrength.
- The scenario design itself is very good. I enjoyed all the scenarios. Maybe I enjoyed them even more than the official Soviet expansion.
- It's nice to see the expanded Japanese, Finnish and Polish campaigns and even some early training against Germans.
I would also liked to see some Spanish civil war stuff - I think It would fit well among those scenarios.

:D

Nikkivdd, I just finished a play through of version 0.62 (thought I was on the latest so I have to try again with 0.7).

I enjoyed it. I think it's a bit easy early on - the turn limit is a bit generous and maybe the Japanese could have one or two more infantry or AT guns on the left hand side or centre, but it gets tougher throughout - there's some nice clusters of well entrenched Polish troops to winkle out which soak up a lot of time. Things get tough against the Germans - Brody wasn't too bad as I recognised that DV against better and more experienced troops probably wouldn't work very well and went on the defensive.
Mogilev was probably too hard for a DV. I just couldn't see any way to keep the trucks intact, let alone get any through to the objective hexes. I enjoyed the defence of the city - I ended up down to 9 prestige at one point and got a well-timed surrender just in time to reinforce a couple of units, and just broke through to rescue my SE KV2 on 2 points and 0 ammo after a few lucky rolls where attacking troops did 0 damage. Definitely would have been a bit easier if I'd just gone on the defensive, so it would be nice to have a slightly better (non-zero) chance of succeeding in the DV mission.

Excellent work as always, and your ability to ramp up the difficulty through the scenarios make a tough scenario look easy keeps me on my toes and makes for plenty of replay value.

First of all, thank you for the interest in the Soviet Grand Campaign. Despite the release of Panzer Corps 2, i am surprised that there is still much interest in Panzer Corps 1.
This year has not been a year we are accustomed to. Personally it has not been easy to get used to the "new" normal and Panzer Corps was not the first thing on my mind.
What is an essential job? Probably all jobs are essential but according to my employer I have an essential job without chance to work from home. Working hours were extended during the first and the second (now!) corona wave in Belgium. This leaves me with even less free time. But still, i want to do something with Panzer Corps, something light, fun and easy to create (the US 50 State Tour thread). The Soviet mod is not light and easy and requires time for reading and working out scenarios. Rest assured, the project is not burried. It is simply put on ice for the time being. Thank you for your understanding.

I will work further on this next year after the Italy Corps - Afrika korps campaign. Thanks for your interest.

Yes, but as i have to write the same as in the Italy Corps-Afrika Korps thread:
The vanilla version lacks the necessary units.

First and foremost, chapeau bas! Many thanks for your outstanding work, including i.a. Soviet Grand Campaign made so far as well as Italian Campaign. Very impressive. Your work is one of the reasons I returned to playing PC. As you see, I am not an "active" user, but I follow this forum regularly and I appraciate your work a lot. As a matter of fact, I am convinced that there are still many users like me (i.e. not very expressive but benefiting from the work of people like you).

From the other hand, have you ever considered creating (even a short) campaign dedicated, e.g. to the Battle of France/Low Countries 40' (from the French/British/Belgian/Dutch perspective)? Bearing in mind your residence (Belgium, as I see), you undoubtedly have the knwoledge and understanding to make such a campaign possible.

Like the one of the above user, I would also like to see, even short, campaigns of minor countries like Poland or Greece, but I suppose that lack of vanilla units can be a serious obstacle for this (leaving aside things like the responsibilities of RL, which is perfectly undestandable and obvious for me).

If my memory serves well...
Official add-on Sealion campaign 4 months (before it went into beta testing)
Official add-on US Corps 6 months (before it went into beta testing)
Soviet GC DLC 37-41 4-5 months
Italy Corps - Afrika Korps: the Italian scenarios about a month, the rest sofar about two months
The Gerold Treitler Panzer General campaign (GTPG): i believe 2 years from a dynamically linked campaign to a single campaign and then several scenarios added afterwards
More Panzer Corps series (MPC): for sure half a year

I'm a one man project after all, so it takes time.

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to post.
I'm glad that mods still inspire people to play Panzer Corps. Throughout the years a lot of mods were presented by numerous authors. Some of those authors decided to move on but some are still here. And all are great in their own way.
For all the reasons we know so well, Panzer Corps does not disappoint.
What is the most disappointing is that the unit database overlooked the axis minor and allied minor countries , but no expense was spared to have all of that in Panzer Corps 2.
Panzer Corps still has a lot of potential and no need for 3D graphics to create content.

A little x-mas update.
Get the latest version from the first post of this thread.

New update includes:

The first hero for a core unit might appear earlier.
During Lake Khasan mission, the I-16 with the hero Sergey Denisov will join your army. (in v0.07 this unit appeared without a hero).
During Wytyczno mission, a T-34 with the hero Dmitry Lavrinenko will join your army.

The mod comes with my updated vanilla based equipment file. If you don't want to use this, just delete the equipment.pzeqp file from the data folder.

Lavrinenko participated in 28 engagements in 2.5 months and has 52 confirmed kills. No Allied tank officer surpassed him during the whole war
  nice to play with him with this context
