I have no idea. I did not even try to use the P+S editor, mainly because other writers were finding it so difficult, but also because I have quite limited knowledge about warfare beyond 1500AD. Perhaps other scenario writers who used the P+S editor could provide such a list?

Edit: one thing is for certain, if it means that I have got to fiddle about for hours with scripting (I haven't got a clue) then I will not be writing any scenarios for FOG 2. Life is too short.

You don't have to do any scripting, unless you want to do something fancy.

Whatever you do, add hot seat. Wargaming is a solitary pursuit for a lot of people who enjoy playing both sides to fiddle with historical situations. It's also necessary for scenario testing.

Also, add Mac!

What are the scenarios that are projected to come with the game?

Great News on the annoucement of the new game, wondering if the unit limit will still be 64 per side ? By the way graphics look amazing, hope the AI will be challenging as in Pike and Shot.........Still one of my favourite games

There is no longer a hard 64 unit limit. I don't know what the new limit is, if there is one. We have kept the historical battles down to 64 units, but some of the custom army lists can field more at high points. I think the largest army is Numidians at 2000 points who can field up to 83 units because their troops are so cheap, but they have over 100 before force selection, so I can confidentally say you can have at least 100 units per side in a scenario without breaking anything.

(One of the improvements in FOG2 is that there isn't a separate force selection screen, force selection takes place on the actual battlefield, so the unselected units are in fact on the map, albeit not in the playable part, until they are selected. The unchosen units are deleted once force selection is complete).

The hard limit is 256 units per side IIRC. Note that battles that large will require a considerable machine to run smoothly...

Cheers
