The Danes set up nice and comfy on a hill while the Imperials had to try and shoot them up to drop cohesion before they could close. The Danes managed to disrupt an Imperial Tercio early on but the Imperial fire finally told as a Danish unit went fragged and the Imperials were into and then behind the Danish lines. The Imperial cavalry managed to get some units behind the Danish lines but Danish reserves moved up and put short order to that. A good fight with plenty of rear charges into Tercios by brave horsemen finally saw the day go to the Imperials, who have much brighter and happier flags.

A cautious start followed by a close battle. Weirdly, towards the end of the game all the banners changed to German!!!

Result doesn't show the toughness of the battle. I had a router rally and broke a veteran early tercio in the 20th turn which skewed the result quite a bit.

After very cagey moves by both sides, the armies got stuck in, but nightfall intervened, allowing the Huguenots to slip away under cover of night.

TGM Scots 47% (8.2 points) v Awsume4 69% (4.7 points) NMA

Quite a long battle across miles of hedgerows, the scots got blasted by the NMA firepower until the flank march decided to show up ( in several stages) to turn the tide for the Scotians. Fierce close battle!
