I thought I was being clever by taking both Suebi and Saxon allies for the Lombards, to give me two large blocks of impact HF, thereby avoiding reliance on the Italian militia. But the Visigoth cavalry merrily carved up and feasted upon the Suebi, and the Saxons didn't fare much better. Well played!
