It's just an unit icon that's missing and doesn't effect game play.

The unit icon bug is now fixed. Just delete the scenario pack and download/install it again. This shouldn't effect ongoing games. You may get a script error but just ignore it.

Cavehobbit!

Thanks for these fantastic scenarios. I'd like to try my hand at designing a few. I've got wargame design experience, yet there's no Manual for the Editor. I've can't and won't attempt to script. But straight up "vanilla" BA2 Multiplayer would be possible with some info on well... how. I can create maps place and rotate units and design, again vanilla BA2 (K) , single player stuff, I just need an overview and a creation/save/modify/post tutorial.

Where should I start?

Thanks again, and the only reason I ask is that, It'd be nice to create some scenarios I have from other design efforts.

Hi lowtech,
I'm glad you like the scenarios. :D

If you can create maps and place units, then you've come a long way. I'm not writing scripts myself, just make minor changes where I can. In most cases copy/paste is the best practice. There are a couple of very skilled people writing scripts in this community.
So once you have created a map (i.e. a scenario), you can copy files from any other scenario folder and paste them into your scenario folder, replacing any the old files. Best way is to study the file/folder structure in existing scenarios and find out which files/folders you need. Then you can open the text files and script files checking for things you need to change.
I don't think there is a tutorial. Best way is to try in small steps, and ask for help once you'd like to include new features. You should be doing just fine using the editor.

Good luck,
P-A

CaveHobbit,
Thanks for the reply.
I looked at the tutorial for how to upload a scenario, plus found the rather limited material concerning using the editor.
I'm a BIG believer in not-reinventing anything  so I am using created scenarios as a basis. For example on the Blood and Honor, my opponent and I really like the Authie scenario. So I open it but cannot find the reinforcements at all. I hesitate to start all the work of "improving" the scenario :) without even being able to "see" that one element.

On an even more basic level does one need to make any changes in a scenario in order to "enable" multiplayer?

Since you should not be "punished" for all your hard work by getting all my NoOB questions, where might I better post to get informed answers without cluttering up your BLOG?
Thanks again

Has anyone created a .zip of these--or any other BA2--scenarios that are available for installation?

Here's how to get these scenarios:
go to
https://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewto ... b10f74321d
copy one of the http…dl=1 links
Click BA2 Campaigns button
Click triple-folder button in upper left (3rd button from left)
Click the red suitcase button in upper right
Click the + sign to paste the link you copied
Click the check mark
Scroll down to the bottom of the scenario list to find the scenario for the pasted link
Click the folder–red arrow button at bottom center
