Does this mean there is an independent Scottish competition

Whether a future, democratically elected government would regard such a commitment as binding I leave to your imagination...

I've chosen 1644 Covenanters and Parliamentarians for my army in the competition. I have some units rated as Horse since FoGR doesn't have a"knackered ponies" classification .
If we win,(assuming I can persuade them to fight on a Sunday!) my army will hold a prayer meeting rather than a party.

Andy,
You could always lead us with prayers before the start of the competition. Unfortunately as a outright Royalist it will have to be High Church using the "Common Pray Book" not this low muck you Scots Covenanters keep doing.

Tom has had 15 lists in so far, which breakdown to 2 Scots Royalists, 3 Covenanters, 4 Early Royalist, 3 late Royalists and 3 Parliamentarians. So a good mix so far.
What are the other 17 lists going to do!!

Bob,
We won't use your version of the prayer book and if you insist otherwise, this means war.
The army uses our Covenanter prayer book for guidance - history 's first ever guided missal

Tim, Nothing like it. I only know as I have been asked for some figures.
Tom has now had 22 lists - 4 Scots Royalists, 4 Covenanters, 5 Early Royalist, 5 late Royalists and 4 Parliamentarians.
So that is 8 for Parliament (The Scots Covenanters will always claim that they are for themselves) and 14 for God's appointed King of England and Scotland.

Obviously finishing 2nd wasn't good enough for him then...

Tim, I looked at the Covenanter army lists on the Madaxeman site. I'm not sure the first one is legal, if it's meant to be a 1644 Covenanters in England List, because the Average Scots six-packs are described as musket*, and I thought that only the Poor Scots foote were musket* as opposed to musket.

Tom has 23 lists now so 9 outstanding - come on those who have not put their lists in to Tom yet.
The extra list Tom has is for Scots Royalist - so we have more Scots Royalists than Covenanters.

Don't know why it's important, but the northerners will be escorted by 10 BGs of mounted. I hope that's enough.
