What is most worrying is the Slitherine Silence.
Where Pip, Ian, Andrew.. are?

Likely trying to find the problem, instead of checking mail every minute. Been there, done that. When you don't know what the issue is, you often prefer to wait till you have something new to say.

I could not agree with you,I learned by experience that the most important thing to do in those situation is reassure consumers.

I've had similar issues over the weekend, and in the days before. I've been having problems loading turns, but also ending my turns in those cases the turns did load. Strangely, this must have somehow kicked off the "multiple turns" download warning, although I don't think I have loaded the same game twice, although I did try multiple times to get a game going - surprisingly, I didn't have any game crashes which still occur on the iPad

What was more annoying was seeing one of those old turn inconsistencies: kill a unit in your turn only to find it alive again next turn. This time I found an enemy unit dead, although it was supposed to be alive, and one of my transports also dead, while it was supposed to be alive.

What was annoying about it is that a three-star scout in the transport disappeared completely following the death of the transport. The unit isn't on the map, nor is it in the casualties screen - it must be in purgatory.

The server team is continuing to investigate the recent PBEM server issues, although I don't have any specific news to report. You don't need to be concerned about the multiple download warnings at this time as we are aware this is not the fault of the players.

The other issues you noticed may be unrelated to this general server problem. Turn inconsistencies are an issue that Pip continues to track. Units loaded on a destroyed transport are not guaranteed to survive if some of the surrounding tiles are blocked, although they should show up on the casualties screen when they are killed this way.

Having been a Network Engineer at one time,....I echo your words. Patience gentlemen,...while this is frustrating,...remember, it's just a game.
These guys have given 200% support in the past,...so while yes it is frustrating,..heck,..I'm going through withdrawal, I know this will be resolved.

and to enrich: You are correct,...you should always have someone convey frequent updates to the customer. But,.I'm willing to cut them some slack. This seems to be the worst problem they've had to deal with.

To help us to pinpoint the cause, could you send us an email to multiplayer@slitherine.co.uk when the problem occurs with the following info: time when the problem occured (including timezome), game and your Internet IP address.

Thanks!
