... and shuffling around and indicision by the Pyrrhic Host, trying not to be surrounded, then crushed by an armoured charge through the middle. All good clean fun.

We are at turn 8 , haven't heard from Skippy for a couple of days being Easter and all i imagine he's having some life with his family

The battle is getting closer with some main forces engaging in melee at the moment.

A quick update on our game: lydianed (Bosporans 15/44) vs Bagration (Romans 13/33)
We've just acknowledged we need to get a move on with it but I'm in London and he's in Texas so the time-difference/holidays have not been helping. Rest assured we're working as fast as we can. An extension would be a very gracious and magnanimous gesture on your part Turk...

Thanks Ian this advances you into the 1st life draw and Skippy will move down to the second life draw.
lydianed you need to get a move on please. I realise the time difference and Easter Holiday may make it hard for players to accomplish their games in the time alloted.
I will give you both until Friday the 5th of April and thats it

There will be no more extensions after this so players could we all make sure we are playing at least 1 turn per day in future

Hi Turk -
Quick update on my game with lydianed. We are at 15/33 for the Romans (me) to 26/44 for the Bosporans (lydianed). Lancers had a rough go and the Bosporan CinC got killed heroically leading his legions. We should be able to wrap up in the next day or two. Very sorry for the delay.

The Bosporans were brave and proud, but the combination of studly legions, the loss of both Bosporan commmanders and bad terrain proved too much to overcome. In the end, the Romans held the high ground and sent the Bosporans off to lick their wounds for another go.
Romans 19/33 to Bosporans 51/44
Thanks for the game, Lydianed.
