PLAYERS MAY RESUME. SLITHERINE SEEM TO HAVE TAKEN VERY ROBUST COUNTER-MEASURES, SO HOPEFULLY EVERYTHING WILL BE OK NOW.

I can see three challenges from Anders and three from Chris on the system for this tournament. Can you pick these up please, chaps - even if you cannot start the game for a day or two? Saves re-posting and messing about. Thanks.
Re-posting this message from the umpire.
I think my challenges will disappear in a day or two.

stockwellpete (Medieval Germans, later) 37/37 drew with Triarius (Medieval Danish, later) 45/44. A great game again with Mike.

Well my game vs Mike is a bit of a bloody one. After our next turn I reckon MIke will be on 37-39/44 and I will be on 31-33/38. It is then going to be how quickly MIke can get his knights around my flank and what damage I can do to him through bowfire as I will not have anything to fight shortly. Just run away and shoot. Oh yes Mike, when you do loot my camp. Do you mind awfully taking your shoes/boots/clogs off before you enter. Better still could you all have a bath and wash your clothes. I was going to call an umpire as I felt there was the use of biological open warfare (BO for short) and it certainly affected my troops LOL.

ericdoman1 (Burgundian Ord) 34/38 vs Triarius (Med Danish Later) 46/44
Incredibly close. Prob deserved a draw as I had 2 units that should have routed and 1 more which should have at least fragmented. But I felt I would get a draw minimum on Mike's turn. I was 1 bp away from winning and I was facing a poor def spr who was 1% away from auto rout (I am guessing <65% is auto rout for poor troops). we both had appalling dice throughout the game, I prob edged the luck bit. Although my longbows seemed to be firing balnks for most of the game.
Cheers Mike

The match score between the Nobles and Peasants is now 10-2, so that means the peasants have lost already.

Thanks for the game Eric.
To all Eric gave me an object lesson in how to grasp the last few bp out of apparently nothing - very well played and a great tense game.
I must admit the failure to get his last two weak units hurt.
Found no flea powder in the camp either.

Reducing my embarrassment at the bottom of the table....
davouthojo (Low Countries) 21/38 vs 47/44 triarius (Danish)
The Danes kindly came out of their forest, and the pike wall proved strong enough
davouthojo (Low Countries) 27/38 vs 43/39 fedem (Ord French)
The Low Countries got off to an early lead, catching some of the retreating longbows.
But then the fight reached the Swiss and the French knights and bogged down.....fortunately the early lead made the difference in the slugging match.....
No elegance in this army!
