OK - so we have 32 entrants now and recruitment is closed.

But what I can do is start a RESERVE LIST for anybody else who wishes to enter and I will draw from that list if any players drop out in the next few days or if players do not start their first round games promptly next week. I also have two players who are still to nominate their armies and they must do that by Saturday evening. If you wish to go on the reserve list then just post your name and choice of army as the other players have done. Thanks.

I am just waiting to hear from gaxsax now about his army. There was a bit of ambivalence in his application to join the competition (he asked to be put down as a "spare") so there may still be one place available. I have sent him a PM and I will give him until the end of today to respond. If I don't hear anything then I will try and fill that last slot tomorrow.

So if there is anyone wishing to join the reserve list in case there is a last minute slot to fill then please put your name down (and choice of army) today please.

First thing, you are in the wrong thread, Leonidas - you need the tournament is open thread. Secondly, I have sent you a private message (PM) which you should be able to see on your screen now - it says something like "You have one new message". In that message I have explained that RussProv has replaced Tiavals in the competition. I have also PM'd RussProv and given him all the details of the game, including your password, and I have asked him to start it as soon as possible.

If I wake up on Sunday morning and still see your challenge unanswered on the FOG screen then I will pick up the match myself and RussProv will be removed from the tournament. I really cannot do anymore than I have done to get your game under way, Leonidas.

Thank you for your reply. I admit i was having trouble trying to trace what thread these messages were in, when i looked up on the tournament site. Anyway thanks for informing me what is happening and i will look out each day for my opponents response.

Should my replacement not appear, I'm happy to take my original place, if it's still possible. I didn't realize there was another thread, so I only watched this one, and didn't get any PMs, so I was unaware of the tournament beginning already. My apologies for that.
