Steve, you asked for thoughts on armies for the next outing. How about a cavalry v infantry clash and if everyone has got RoR, Parthians v Romans would be a good mix. Since its been difficult to get more players I did wonder about 4 matches instead of 2 for each pair which would allow agreed terrain to be fixed (eg open/mixed for each two of the cavalry/infantry clashes - but as its its difficult sometimes to complete only two matches a time thats probably a non-runner. Even less appealing if it means you winning 4-0 each time.

I think I’m going to rest the league for a few weeks, with LOEG season 8 starting soon. Also with the low uptake of players and the lack of games being finished. Don’t know why certain players join, then show no interest in playing the games. I noted nakedcelt had 4 games posted for at least 2 weeks with no one picking up! a bit strange.

I must put my hands up to being slightly lax in getting my games completed and I owe you Steve and those players who did participate more attentively an apology - but yes very frustrating!

Likewise - real life got in the way a tad. Nakedcelt - apologies - was supposed to pick a couple up

As it looks like LOEG 8 isn’t going to start for a while, I’m going to try start Season 5,
