TURN 26:
Situation on the front is more-less stabilized. Soviet losses are not so drastically higher than German anymore.
Also as an additional support, according to the Polish-Soviet agreement some Polish units has been formed.

TURN 31:
Winter comes to the end and Germans are pushing forward again, everywhere where the Panzers are present.
The last hope is in the new infantry technology level. This should allow Soviets to create stronger and what comes after that more effective infantry units. Currently nothing can stand against German armored units.
Germans almost reached Caspian Sea
Heavy fights are on the line Krasnodar-Maykop-Stavropol.

The Siege of Leningrad still continuous
Desperate defenders are too good fortified to be attacked, and Germans send all their bombers to the front lines.

Both German strategic bombers fleets are attacking almost continuously city after city.

I can't see how you can save the day now that Winter is finished...seems you're going to lose.
How do the the other fronts looks like for Germany....any D-day on the way or is it quiet on the Western Front? How's the situation in North Africa and the Afrika Corps? Any US troops there?
Cheers

Actually the Germans already lost together with Italians in North Afrika.
Americans already building up the forces, but everything is still kept in the USA.
Other fronts are non existent for Germans right now, and they are only keeping security forces at the shores of The Channel.

TURN 42:
Looks like there is no chance to win this game, so I’ll quit punishing myself and present you the last report.
Personally I think that the German AI done well, they might just try to use more bombers against Leningrad, but on the other side Stukas were all the time busy with my tanks.
Here is the situation on the front:
SOUTH
CENTER
NORTH
So far Soviet Union Lost 5 mln of soldiers against 1.5 mln losses on the Axis side.
Soviet forces are not so strong as I would like them to be

@anquille I would love to continue this AAR, but I really don't see the chance to win at the current stage.
I have made some deadly mistakes at the beginning and it is impossible for me to repair them.
Germans are faster, stronger, more experienced and it looks like their forces well understood the importance of supply lines.
No hope for me there, but soon I will return with the new AAR.

Difficulty setting is always set separately for each country. So the Soviets are on Hard, and all the other countries on Normal.

I fully understand...losing is one thing but keep on playing a hundred more turns when you
already know you're going to lose ain't fun.
Seems this scenario is very hard to win for the soviets, especially on hard. Actually i am playing the same campaign in Time of Wrath but with the Germans (note: i also lost North Africa). I am not as far as your german AI so far...first is Kiev...
Look forward to your next AAR.
