I noticed that the city hex are ... too yellow on yellow .... without any shadow as contrast between houses and terrain, or not? However it's only a detail, you're great in creating this campaign!
Yes - I will rework all in the next version with larger shadows - my 3d light sets are with to small shadows - the effect on the map isn't enough. No problem I saved all my 3D tiles with poser and can rendering all new with better shadows.

Here someone else are creating an afrikacorps campaign:
Please do not spam this forum with other projects - DMP is a more tradional PG1 work for low level players and nothing has to do with my real Africa Corps on real military maps.

increases the contrast a little, Try it with raytraced shadows (more precise and sharp for the strong sun of the desert)
use photoshop? best tools are burns and dodge

The contrast of what ??? units , terrain or ...??

No ! I am working only with 3ds max 2011 and Poser 10. I don't have the time to spend hours with photoshop - GIMP and animation shop can do the same.

BTW - I tested you terrain set and its to mutch contrast - you can see not the units over your buildings, but it looks amazing, but not with my units.

Yes - I will do all other towed units in the same wise , but with different poses. Also all my modern war units comes also in this action poses.
It's a lot of work, but it looks so funny and the gamplay its much better.

I like the gun crew poses. Reminds me of the Tamiya/Dragon military model figures. :D HBalck, how long have you been using 3ds max? Wish I had the skills to make stuff like these.

Its not easy - for me 3 years with blood and sweat - its very hard to control programms like 3ds Max, Vue-7, Bryce, Poser, Cinema4d or DAZ3d - but months for months - year for year I learned many more to live and work in the 3D world.

looks cool, but rumoured that there will be an official expansion for panzer corps about africa. you certainly have to cooperate with developers ;)

No - this is an free upcoming mod addon for panzer corps. I don't known somethings like a new project from the developers - I have no informations from Slitherine or others. Also I think an new upcoming game have the same not optimal parameters with not enough terrain tiles, to show the maps correctly- thats not my way - I am producing big map Campaigns on the scale 1km = 1 Hex with historical unit textures and correct maps and deployments with historical divisional and corps briefings and campaign paths. The original game design is very good , but only for more PG1 styled interested low level players. My community will play a more historical WW2 campaigns and global MP maps - I don't like fictiv Mini maps - we like epic global strategy on exactly military maps with scientifically analyzes uniforms, weapons and vehicle camourflage.
