OK - looks better than my - do you like to work with me together on this modern war project ? Your are the unit maker and I will produce maps and historical troop trees.

First I have interest to produce my old WW3 scenario Warzaw Pact vs. NATO in middle Europe - company level its to large, but we can use my old Batallion level, but many troops in NATO and WP are missing without company level !

Yes, I am interested in your project, and actually, I thought also that the battalion level is better....
I also thought to recreate the towns and villages hexes , and make a new kind of roads : highways ....
but unfortunately I can not promise to make the units or terrains quickly ...
If you are comfortable with "Poser", and you have the time ... if you could create infantry models, and send them to me in *.OBJ...
it would be great ....

Infantry models are no problem - Do you need only the obj's in different poses without or with textures ? Please can you send me a PM - than we can speak over private e-mail.

Yeah - alone I can not work on this great project.

Nick - I think we can use the Peoples army parameters for our modern war expansion - easy to transfer with the new upcoming equipment editor together with LuzG PeGSuite Editor. But we need some modified ranges for 1km = 1 Hex.. Also many new modern urban tiles and your highway (I used highways also in my old JTCS engine) , but we need highways as a new street typ !

Yes, indeed, if you have the appropriate textures for the units it is preferable,
preferably in DDS or PSD format ...
or if you have no textures, I can do it , but I need a UV Mapping ( Unwrapping the model to make it easy to texture ).
I see that we actually have the same references, we use the same utilities, and like the same games ...
I like People general also and its potential for modding....

Maya at start, for modeling,
but most of my models were created several years ago,
I'm only make a few changes when necessary with Maya.
photoshop CS5 Extended-3D ....for the textures , shadows, and lighting...

Very nice - a little bit greater are better - 120% ! Together with massis new tiles and the outcoming e-editor we can start a first test map. I will use first my old JTCS map matrix around Lübeck. For this test scenario we need many units - I send you a list of all in the next hour. Also some objs for NVA and Bundeswehr Infantry units.

New NVA Figures with RPG 7 Panzerfaust and 2 poses with AK-47 standing fire : (I sended the obj's !)
