OK, that's a surprise then. Both myself and TGM reckoned the Indo Greeks were much stronger than the Egyptians, So the score now is Indo-Greeks 2 Egyptians 2. So we need 2 more games to see if we can separate these two armies.

Tom (zumHeuriger), can you pick up the challenges for this tie from Keith please? If your two matches end one apiece then myself and TGM will play a sudden death match to decide it.

Tom, OK - you can make it an official match, no problem - the score stands at Gatae 1 Persians 1. Have you got two games for Indo-Greeks versus Egyptians going with Keith now?

That just leaves Bessos v Skythians to sort out then. Who wants to play this tie?

I've got both matches set-up. We should be starting play when I get home from work, and continuing through the World Boardgaming Championships this week (Time to push cardboard and Meeples around).

THe two games with Keith are nearing conclusions - the Egyptians are currently ahead in both. The games with TGM are also unerway but not as far along.

Inconclusive data for the Colonial Greeks:

batesmotel (Later Colonial Greek) 42/53 - TGM (Early Colonial Greek) 61/60

Overall the armies do seem to be pretty evenly matched, at least against each other.
