I think you need to be careful now, you need to form a proper line and be ready for winter. I would suggest that you don´t move too close to the Russian front line, otherwise he might a launch an attack and get you in the open field. Better to stay put and defend behind a river or tough terrain and make it through winter without heavy losses. Try to keep the Luftwaffe in range at all time, they are your real strenght.
Good luck

Turn 58 (October 15, 1942)
Campaign overview: Ok, we think we need to be cautious in this approach to the issue. The Russian wall is too great an obstacle to overcome in the onset of winter, we may well attack it in the spring…
-
Synopsis: The Northern area; we are still advancing in light of little Soviet resistance. In the Central/South, it looks wise to wait out the winter before the assault…

Turn 59 (November 4, 1942)
Campaign overview: Winter is upon us, we rest and refit for the spring, we will not engage these Russians until we can gather effectiveness back...
-
Synopsis: The Northern area; Again we are taking the northern objectives, we are thinking about sending an additional Army Group to bolster that front. In the Central/South we are going to build up for the spring. We also make some strikes against a 'Fat' convoy in the Celtic sea…

Keep all figthers on centry cause during winter they fight with severe penalty. That can be very costly against the Russians during winter. Looking good, just be cool and avoid getting into a fight during this winter and attack as soon as the weather clears up, you should be fine. Make sure you bomb those russian tanks so the can´t counter attack so hard.

Thanks CG, but with all the changes in the BETA world, we (my Opponent and me) have decided to cancel our current game. We both agree, it would be a great game with 2.0, however we decided to re-start another, with the current defaults. We also agreed (I'm not as happy

) not to post it as a AAR. When the BETA Stabilizes, and the next general release is updated, we may do another AAR (Now, I'm happy again!

)

Looks like a tough game to walk away from, that eastern front battle would have been awesome.

Damn. That line of troops looked promising. What's the rationale behind the decision about no AAR allowed?
Thank you updating this AAR
