Panzer Corps - Grand Campaign Mega Pack '39-'45 Review: 92%!
http://www.7idgaming.de/content.php?200 ... Pack-39-45
Conclusion: "Panzer Corps" can be recommended to anyone, whether casual or leisure General Whether young or old, the "Grand Campaign Mega Pack" represents a very excellent compilation and needed to play one of the two "stand-alone's... . "Price of" Grand Campaign Mega Packs "in the amount of 41 euros (as boxed version) is given the plethora of battles (some 150 linked scenarios with a maximum campaign length of about 80 battles) fully in order. Corresponds our final rating to the stand-alones, with a small improvement in terms of atmosphere and game scale. Overall rating: 92%

Panzer Corp should be played buy every Panzer General lover at least once. It will be loved buy 55% of the Panzer General players if they only play the base game because of the feel and the fact that when you get to the U.S. the tree is extended beyond one battle. The other's will not like the fact that it does not carry all of the same features as the old game and you have to purchase additional base game Africa Corp and or DCL's. If you are a real PG person then you just went and bought the whole thing PBD like I did. If you are a PG Player and your first time playing this is with a MEGA PACK GRAND CAMPAIGN, and a friend lets you try it like I did. I would venture you would have about a 94-97% rating on this game from old PG players. Just don't expect to use your computer any time soon like I have done. Get in on iPad Please. I would like to play this weekend ;-}

My personal rating: 99%.
Only issue: no Leningrad scenario in the main campaign (and that I have to fight IS-2s, but that is true history)

Funny that you do not want the free PR. Your choice. See something like that for the first in my career.

Throwing a post to a 5 month old forum thread isn't the best way to get official attention! Use the contact information page:

Throwing a post to a 5 month old forum thread is tha last way how to say "you are amateurs" when you send emails and PMs and nobody reply for a many weeks. Three Czech VG sites (3 and half million users per month) now are not interested to write about your game. My (free) advice for you - hire some PR professionals.

I did. No response.
Time to make a review of some competing games.

I'm not sure if you are aware, the office was closed over Christmas.
Though the idea of reviewing PzC seems, to me at least, a bit pointless.

99% of the players who will ever play the game got it in 2011-2015, played it extensively, and have now moved on to something else (or are hanging around the mod forum!). The game is quite old now.

Because nobody replied to my email, I had to buy the Soviet Corps myself. My review will sound like ... ... I am really disgusted.
You are unable to make any kind of core, all of the first scenarios sooner or later turns into the massacre. There is no possible unit management, defending in the first screnarios is composed from buying KV-1s and flood of cheap infantry, which will be fast destroyed. Of course, history is history, but when the game is not fun, something is wrong. Panzer Corps are turning to its bad end.

Being a person that was part of the beta testing, we desired for the difficulty and frustration of the overwhelming nature of what was against The Soviets, and needing to learn how to try different stratgey in order to build the proper core and work through the difficulty. We felt it kept up to the reputation of being the hardest missions in Allied General as well as added to the replayability of the game itself.
The Vanilla Campaign has some very difficult scenarios that add to the challenge of trying the various scenarios and they tried to add a bit of that flavor while at the same time added some interesting new twists and tricks to Soviet Corps.
I think they succeeded.

The campaign is definitely hard. One has to replay the campaign in order to figure out a win.
