The elephant is in progress. Lets hope my heart proves my head wrong!

I'm in discussion with Steve at LBMS and in principle can get his Sassanid banners and Elephant cloths reduced to 15mm

The main range is now being pressed under 10 tons of vulcanised rubber. So, the end is nigh

thanks

All very good news.

If Steve is interested in supplementing his 28mm banner sheet, on pages 20-21 of Osprey's Elite Sassanian Cavalry there is a range of medallions and insignia probably useful for additional banners and/or shields.
I'm assuming that everyone would want 4 per base ? so 16 and 24.. am I wrong?
Depends on the figures. If the figures must be sold in battlegrougs with leader and standard bearer I would make both cataphract and armored horse archer packs 12 each. I think packs of 16-24 are too large for cavalry. In any event, leaders and standard bearers probably could be used for regular soldiers. Musicians, if available, I think are best left in leader packs. LH should be in packs of 8.

The paint job on that elephant made me want to clean my pants. Amazing

Elephants are probably a luxury, but it would be cool to see something like Aventine style Sassanid elephants in 15mm.

I should make it clear that the photos shown here are of the Aventine 28mm elephant! not the Lurkio elephant!

Your website says "sold-out" for each of the Sassanid codes.

EXCELLENT :!: :D I will be ordering some soon.

A couple of packs seem to be missing: (levy) spearmen and a C-in-C. These are listed in your army pack.
