I hope some change will be done quickly because it's really not a fun situation.
Does this mean you wont use the Florentines that feature a huge amount of Swiss either?
Please note, Im not critising you or anything but many lists allow a lot of Swiss to be bought, not just the Swiss lists...

no I have no problem with army that use Swiss as mercenary. There are not elite and are only a small part of the army.
Well they are the same units(superior) although you are correct that there are lesser #'s of them, however you will also have effective missle units heavy knights etc AND a very powerfull corp of Swiss pikes...
Early German Late Germans, Florentines and I believe Venetians can buy sizable # of Swiss

Ha Ha, I'm not suggesting I can beat a Swiss army with those lists , but to be honest i havent run across too many of them anyways, I dont use that list myseft but will take as many as i can get in lists that have them!

I take as many Swiss mercenaries as I can get. They're great. It's just that 30+ superior pikes are nearly impossible to beat and require very little thought to win with consistently.

Swiss can be defeated but that suppose to have lots of terrain and fortification.
If the missile weapons were more efficient there would be no problem.

I don't use the Swiss because I find it too easy to win with them. On my last outing with them I resigned when a couple of points from a massive victory because my opponent had virtually no chance against the ubermensch and I didn't feel comfortable 'winning' so one-sided a contest.
I've noticed that I don't seem to come across Swiss armies any more when I post open DAG challenges. Could it be that other people feel embarrassed to use the Swiss as well?

I think a lot of the problem is that Paisley has gone missing. Annoying, since I have an old game against his Swiss with Low Countries(Maximilian) which had developed into a very interesting battle fighting over a mountain in the middle of the map.

Ditto. I'm still waiting for Paisley's next move. My hill hugging Burgundians are close to beating him. I suspect he lost interest in FoG after numerous easy Swiss victories. Then again, he went missing after your lastest elections. You don't suppose he was a member of the losing party?

Possibly he's a Liberal Democrat and is now unexpectedly Deputy Prime Minister.

That's what I suspect given his nick name.
