Tough battle in the desert. Lots of archers, infantry, light cavalry, cataphracts, elephants and lancers to navigate around. Eventually, I got some breaks using my archers and lancers.

Rome got stuck behind a river and on the wrong end of a slope and couldn't bring their infantry to bear. Gepid lights caused multiple holes in the lines which the lancers were able to exploit. Tough day for Rome. GG.
