A charge of the Swedish cavalry from the wood changed the course of the battle when defeat was almost sure.

A fierce battle that could have gone the other way. As a result of the mirrored fight, the underdog (Swedish army) won both battles... I expected exactly the opposite outcome.

The Scots maintained their independence, using favourable rough and woods terrain to dominate the flanks, while holding up the English victory in the open centre long enough to achieve overall victory.

P.S. Comparing Medieval and Ancient Scots for nominally the same period, the key difference is probably the availability of English Knights, instead of "mere" English Armoured Cavalry.

I have the same problem with xlegione, i didnt received movements since 24 october

Division F Results

The terrain here was flat with some peripheral woods and a small swamp on one flank. However, the centre was dominated by wide areas of rough ground, which is favourable ground for the Welsh. Their medium spearmen can even form square in the rough, and still be steady!

So the key was how well the Welsh could channel the battle into rough terrain, or, conversely, how much the Anglo-Irish (and, especially, their knights) could catch the Welsh in the open.

Chris Townsend's Anglo-Irish choose to put all their cavalry in the one area of open terrain in the centre, and adopted the simple plan of just charging forward through the shower of arrows. It worked:

- Chris Townsend's Anglo-irish 46 vs. Brenmusik 10.

In the mirror, the Anglo-Irish cavalry was not as concentrated, while the Welsh successfully (until the Anglo-Irish armour arrived) concentrated their cavalry on the flank of the swamp. In the centre, the Welsh simply refused to emerge from the woods until the armoured threat moved away. A tough battle ensued all over the map, with just enough of it occurring in rough terrain to give:
