The more numerous Breton Cavalry heavy army seems to have a significant advantage over the infantry and armoured lancers of the Normans. The Bretons gave the Normans a good run around and caught enough flanks to get an early victory before the Norman Infantry could get involved. Good game and well played.

carpenkm (Indo Greek) beat Nonovitch (Greco-Bactrian) 59-18

The pikes of the Indo Greeks situated on a hill were far too strong for the Greco Bactrians. Some luck early fragments resulted in a collapse on the Greek right. Good Game and well played.

While not as decisive as the other match, once again, the greater numbers of mounted proved key in overwhelming the better armored Norman lancers.

In game 1 Rockmanbob (Bosphorans) defeated Ulysisgrunt 45-16

The Bosphoran cavalry were able to defeat the weaker macedonian horse and then were able to decimate the infantry.

Division H

The Vikings reserved their centre, and then surged forward to catch the Scots redeploying in the open. Despite some valiant breakthroughs by the Scots cavalry, it was soon another successful Viking raid.

A much closer battle than the mirror match. My left and right flanks did just enough to hold to allow the pikes in the centre to win the day. Could have been very different.

A tough battle where the norman dismounted lancers proved enough in combination with their mounted companions. My opponent will no doubt be shortly posting a victory in the mirror match. Well played - good game.

The Bosphoran cavalry were able to defeat the weaker macedonian horse but the macedonian pikes kept formation and forced the draw
