Cool... I was thinking of an illustrative map to show which path you would go... as in the old North South game from the 1980ies!

But then it seems like you are not going as an invasion force from coast to coast or something like that... or from e.g. the North-East (NYC area) to California/west coast?

Not really. When i got the idea for this campaign, i chose to do smallest to biggest US States by size, not the east to west or vice versa kind of thing.

Ah, by size! OK, now I understand
Here is the link where I had the map from:

Maybe you find the article helpful, also regarding the islands...

A little progress update.
Scenario 15: Indiana (ready)
Scenario 16: Kentucky (ready)
Scenario 17: Tennessee (testing)
Scenario 18: Virginia (drawing board)
I have set my deadline on Sunday, 20th for the final update of the year. So whatever is done by then, will be part of the next update.
I'm happy to see that people are still having fun with PzC 1 stuff.

Either they like Kentucky bourbon or what i wrote in the first entry of this thread that this is a fictional campaign against the Axis powers.
I could have made up the maps myself, like the Alternate campaign from a long while ago, but i took the US States as a base for the maps instead.

Yes the first tank corps has already become a masterpiece and a classic

It is good that the Axis countries are opponents, and not as in any cranberry the notorious red threat )))

As it appears i won't be able to get another scenario done before Sunday, i decided to post the update earlier.
The new update adds another three scenarios to the campaign, bringing its total to 17 scenarios.
Download the latest version from the first post of this thread, marked 18/12/20.
New scenarios are:
15. Indiana
16. Kentucky
17 .Tennessee
As soon as i have several new scenarios ready, there will be a new update.

hello nikivdd
I just finished "Maryland scenario" and i got not enough time to reach the extreme city in north west. I thought this mod has the particularity to let the player to play with all the time needed , isn't it ? The other problem for me is also the lack of recon plane :the city in north west was well defended and a simple recon plane could be so fun to make me choose how many paratrooper i need .
For me, the "rush problem" is not a problem because now, i obliged myself to add 20 turns with the cheat code to all scenarios (each turn 1) and i m no more stress byt the time..
and many thxs for this mod .

Thank you for the feedback. It is much appreciated.
None of the scenarios should give the feeling of time constraint. This is not the goal of this campaign. I would appreciate it, even by proximation, how many turns it took you to complete each mission.
The average number of turns is around 30, which seemed to work for me but still, time should not be a necessary parameter to take into account for planning and executing strategies to get the mission done (and clear the map).

I prefer to use only American material, so I found a US light bomber, the "Vindicator"

Certainly, why not. An extensive personal equipment file is a good idea to add variation and to provide a greater choice of units throughout any campaign. Thanks for your contribution.

in addition to the vindicator, I added the Martin Maryland and Martin B10, but I'm not very sure what values are chosen.

--> in Maryland scenario , it is only 25 turns ! (i didn't even have time to destroy supply depots.
I used 30-35 turns for maryland sceanrio but with not enough paratroopers to take the last city, it obliged me to add 5 turns more to get more powerstrike force.
I think you should add 10 turns to all scenarios except the first ones with 20 turns... (it is just a tip. )
And thxs for the update!

Most scenarios will have more turns in the next update.
Meanwhile testing the next scenarios, Virginia and Ohio.
Ohio is the first scenario in this game where the enemy outnumbers the player 2:1. Here also, units will be able to exit the map, for example to rotate with greener units.
Sofar while exploring the map, the elimination of certain structures would give the player prestige, land or air units. A few scenarios ago, i also introduced the POW camp, which gives several units.
The Ohio map introduces two new special structures, one that will add a certain amount of ammo to all your ground units, and the other will give a certain amount of fuel; this is in the process of being tested.
The deployment pool is getting larger with every scenario, which gives plenty of units to chose from. You could sell them off, or you can rotate units to let them gain experience. Keep in mind that the XP of enemy units will increase with each year.
Merry Christmas.
