In Stalin Line mission you encounter some Estonian partisans, can you pacify them peacefully?
Appreciate all the work you put into this, love seeing what I missed the first time around and challenging myself to get every last little hidden cache.Stormchaser wrote: Thu Mar 18, 2021 10:14 pmI am, in fact, already working on it, but it will probably be a few days before I post. There are a few Events that are conditional on imported Cores I want to check and I may not have any Cores ready to import.brettz123 wrote: Thu Mar 18, 2021 10:00 pm Just want to bump this back to the first page in hope it gets updated for the 41 DLC, this is a super useful thread.
Glad to hear it finding use!brettz123 wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 2:59 pm

To clarify, that 1 Jagdtiger is a token. Just as you aren't meant to fly a Meteor III after your adventure in Sea Lion 1940, you're not going to field a Jagdtiger in 1942.Agrastas wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 11:13 pm To trigger last mission's [*] special event you need to capture and have 100 KV-1 1940 in purchase menu. Aww, I was keeping that a secret for now, lolol.Agrastas wrote: Fri Mar 19, 2021 11:13 pm To trigger last mission's [*] special event you need to capture and have 100 KV-1 1940 in purchase menu. Obviously you loose all of them, but you get you 1 unit of Jagtiger as compensation![]()
But the self-discovery and replaying for those that you missed are part of the fun!FunPolice749 wrote: Sat Mar 20, 2021 12:43 am Can we by chance have a quick run down of stuff that needs to be done early in the campaign to not miss anything? I suppose I can let the cat out of the bag a bit before the official post.FunPolice749 wrote: Sat Mar 20, 2021 12:43 am Can we by chance have a quick run down of stuff that needs to be done early in the campaign to not miss anything? Tbf, If I wasn't checking LUA files to make sure I don't miss anything I doubt I would have found out about the Event at all. And without a guide or heads up you could probably play through the Campaign several times and never end up with enough KVs to trigger the Event.adiekmann wrote: Sat Mar 20, 2021 1:50 am

Does anyone know if there is a longer chain for the Galland promotion? I would give him up for the "greater war effort", but not for some BF 109G, OKW will have to do better than thatStormchaser wrote: Sat Mar 20, 2021 5:48 am There is an Event in Operation Mercury that requires Galland...
Kerensky has stated the offer is because in real life Galland was promoted out of flying, and he felt obligated to include such action in the game.Snake97644 wrote: Sat Mar 20, 2021 11:44 pm Does anyone know if there is a longer chain for the Galland promotion? I dunno if obligated is quite the right word. This was absolutely done for a generous dosage of historical flavoring. And we're getting to the point where the players' efforts in the campaign are stretching and even divorcing from historical realities... and this is a really nice way to say something is the 'canon' version of events, which may no longer jive with the player's personal iteration of events.dalfrede wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 1:40 am

He wasn't sure if anyone would take it.
He has given no indication of a later offer.
I feel like I'm gonna need 2 or more cores going forward to see what the potential benefits of letting him go are (not a bad thing). I imagine having the 109Gs in Russia are going to be mostly a meh point though with all the bad weather missions.Kerensky wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 2:22 am
Galland leaving fighting service, not fighting on the Eastern Front, and assuming his historical position as General of Fighters, is the 'canon' version of events, and future... things... that reference this will reflect that version of events.
But the devs put a lot of extra effort to allow players to continue to play as they please with Galland (not a forced retirement).

Will retiring Galland give out a reward in a future dlc?Kerensky wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 2:22 am

It would have been much less effort to make it a forced retirement than a very complicated script choice.
But we don't make good content with extra details and bells and whistles because it is easy, we do it because it is hard, and I'd like to think it's something that gets a little extra notice.![]()
the prestige sink is at the start of Wlodawa, if u still have a save on that map, hit restart scenario in the menu and the prestige sink will pop up.HunterHH wrote: Sun Mar 21, 2021 6:57 pm Something seems to be wrong with my game.
I start playing again after finding this discussion and i'm now at Warsaw again. OFC i play again for the special rewards. i did cheat me some prestige and tried the newhero function for some or more likely even more times.
But i think that this stops triggering the event to sink the prestige for commendation points. i play with the game in german.
I got Oleh Dir and placed him on my Azul-Inf. The amored Train appeared in Lvov (Lwiw in german imo).
But the 1939 prestige sink in Brest/Wlodawa never happens. So i have 8 Point at the end of that battle.
Then i can spend 8 Commendation-Points to investigate the rumors. And all my points are gone.
Is there the ability that the prestige sink will come up later? because i really wanted the get the Il-2.
Can someone help with this?
