A mix of knights, lighter horse and massed heavy foot smashed the Andalusian right and much of the centre but the delaying force that tried for a rocky hill on the Crusader right got slaughtered to extend the game. My centre-right pressed in and died but pinned the Andalusians from falling back to the hill completely and they were overrun by the knights. Thanks for the game

On wings , arab cavalry managed to outflank the vikings , some lucky charges in the center on lights allowed some horse lancers to come on the rear of heavy vikings troops

The map was largely open, which benefited the heavy cavalry for both forces. The match came down to an intense battle for the right flank of each force. The cataphracts of the Palmyrans held their right flank long enough to allow their overloaded left wing to win on that side and then sweep into the center. Thanks to Bagatrix1805 for a well-fought game.

heidipie irish beat Ulyssesgrunt berber murabid 53 to 27

stream with hills and rough terrain on both sides , in other words perfects for fast moving infantry but not spears or knights...irish center charged over stream but hit by almugarvs and knights and routed away but only after hard fight...and in that time irish left swung around after camel lancers spooked away and took out all the weakened muradig infantry in center ....plus berber knights had now pursued over the stream , but irish had also all crossed , so no more targets for their charges.............tougher game then score shows
