Vadim Arab Conquest won against mh5064 Vikings 60-42

Another close victory against a Viking list, and, for a change, fought on two hills. Mh5064 decided to play almost without cav, whereas I went for the exact opposite. Mobility prevailed. Very enjoyable battle against someone I played several times before, see you next tourney!

Rafydedel philistine 600 bc + Egyptian defeats Bodhran Hittite 1275 bc 62-41

Very numerous Hittite army with countless chariots and a good group of lights and medium. The Hittite had no center but two big wings, the philistine attacked the infantry group which led the chariots to get closer. After round and rounds of arrows and difficulty fights on a steep hill, philistine got an edge thanks to their superior infantry and their bow chariots.

oscarius (Sea Peoples) draws with Challenge1 (Urartian): 54 - 39 (in my favour)

My powerful but clumsy infantry horde managed to advance to the enemy infantry line and destroy them (as well as some heavy chariots). My foe had numerous cavalry elements but I kept enough forces in the second line to prevent much flanking opportunities (and those that did succeed ended up too far from their pursuit to contribute much to the battleline). With only three turns to go and his surviving cavalry too distant from my warriors we accepted the draw.

A very tough, very shooty affair mainly revolving around the obligatory central hill (except when there is the obligatory stream). My much put upon foot eventually gained the heights and with their mounted brothers gaining the upper hand over their peers the field was secured. Huzzah!

Only a handful of turns remained. A swirling battle with the Egyptian infantry eventually cornering enough of the opposing light chariots to force a victory. Thanks again for the game.

Rafydedel lysimachid 320bc defeats frederic02 indo-parthian 60 BC+ indian allies 46-20

Lysimachids were worried when they saw the large parthian army composed mostly of cavalry, elephants and bowmen. It was challenging to have the proper balance between staying compact enough to avoid giving flanking opportunity but wide enough to push the enemy army and reach their weaker bowmen units in the back. The two artillery were a good investment to weaken elephants and cataphracts, but the key of the victory came from morale drop that propagated after loss of generals and elephants in the parthian army.
