The outbreak of World War Two has been blamed on the policy of 'appeasement' - with the Great Powers of Europe failing to stand up to German leader Adolf Hitler's aggressive foreign policy until it was too late.

Or... none of it could be used at all for anything!... ot'her than for filling in the Blanks on WW2 Past-History!... Does it "Really-Matter-That-Much???...Is it So-Crucially-Important???.

Probaply not, because PzC2 is done and none of the Devs is checking in here...but if someone does, maybe while thinking about PzC3, it would be nice if he finds some useful feedback that has to do with the game.

The Tank That Could Have Turned the Tide But America Said No
The British had the Sherman Firefly, a tank powerful enough to take down German Panthers. But despite repeated warnings, U.S. commanders dismissed it, leaving their own crews exposed. This is the story of the tank America refused and the consequences that followed.

A Pacific War DLC would make an ideal addition to PC, I don't mean sea battles, I mean land battles such as Tarawa, Saipan, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, Philippines etc.
There are already the units below in the Editor and Random Mission Generator, but sadly no Japanese units for them to fight..:)

AGREED!!!... "Sea Battles" can be Historically included or mentioned without having to conduct them yourself!. "Sea Battles" could be included at the Players Discretion... for... Say?... an "AHistorical" or User Directed Game!> where the Game's Unfolding and consequences would depend on what the (User) Player does or does Not accomplish!.

I'm sure that the Developers Game Development Teams can configure all the required Graphics Images for the various concerned participants involved in this massive-conflict!. "I-Too!"... would like to see this "Pacific Conflict" become a partner in this Game-Series!.

Proposal: Panzer Corps 3 Hero Overhaul (A 5000 hour Veteran’s Perspective)
*Assumes dev knowledge of mod mechanics mentioned below.

Introduction: First, a massive shout-out to the creators of PanzerCorp1-Grandcampaign, AO Redone and Storm Over Europe for modding a new system of hero management, enabling players to purchase heroes with prestige at the start of each scenario. I’d like to propose a system for Panzer Corps 3—that merges the random heroes of PC2 and the purchasing system found in the aforementioned PC2 mods, to a system allowing players more agency in forming their elite hero cores.
Problem with hero system as it presently exists in the mods: While I enjoy the mods, I find myself obsessing on making 5000 prestige in each-and-every scenario to “purchase” a top-tier hero. This does 2 things: 1. Turns the first few campaigns into a micro-intensive kleptokrieg on steroids, and 2. Leads to the purchase of a top-tier hero in every scenario (Rapidfire, Double Attack, Camouflage, etc…), ultimately unbalancing the game in the player’s favor before much time passes.

1. The Yearly Draft
Instead of a "Hero Shop" available after every mission, elite hero acquisition is restricted to the start of a campaign year. This represents the arrival of new graduates or transfers from other fronts. As the campaign years progress, the heroes taken at the start could cost a sum of prestige based on difficulty scaling, perhaps.

Diminishing Returns: As the war progresses, the "pool" of elite talent dries up.
SCW: Any 6 heroes of the player’s choice taken at the start of the campaign (Building the core).
1939: 4 of any type
1940: 3 choices
1941: 2 choices
1942: 1 choice
Balancing, of course, based on this.

The Random Factor: Outside of this yearly draft, players only receive the standard Random Hero at the start of a scenario (simulating battlefield promotions), and as players can pick and choose @ campaign start, the scenarios might be balanced to a 50% recommond hero spawn per scenario or whatnot.

2. The Exponential Prestige "Tax"
To prevent the 200K+ prestige hoard from making the game trivial, these picks could carry a scaling prestige cost based on difficulty. This simulates the political and logistical capital required to requisition "Aces."

Summary: With many hours (5000+) in Panzer Corps 2, it seems to me that this proposed change for Panzer Corps 3 could simultaneously add to player agency as well as limit hero spam (50% recommended spawn rate).

Yes indeed, but...for me this led to a core that is even more overpowered. Instead of heaving a lot of useless heroes I only got hier tier stuff. Right now in 1944 half of my core can double attack and the other half is a combination of scavengers units, each shot forces an enemy to surrender. That leads to even more prestige and even more heroes...

Imo the hero system should be completly reworked. Super heroes are fine. Galland, Rudel...they are even good for the story. I would remove all the other heroes are turn it into a feature that requires some more micromanagenet, but is less effective.
You have to micro your crews by getting some rewards during the campaign. You dont get rapit fire 1,5 just by luck, but you can get a little bonuses. Your tank crew, consisting of 5 soliders, can get little bonuses. Upgrade the driver to get a little speed bonus...upgrade the gunner to do more damage.
That also requires an even better fighting system. Right now its not working during the years. There is a IS-2, you have a Pz IV. You cant even damage it. You have 10 Pz IV ==> you still cant damage it. Combined with the "upgrade" to the units you should be able to beat even far stronger units.
