Finished the first UK map. It is really nasty to have no possibility to use your own planes against the enemy on the first turn to protect your transports.
The first time I started, I lost quite a lot of units as I did not thought that the allies will start. On my second start, I was lucky and got rain.

For the rest, 15 strength, 5 stars units make my units loose some strength. I have to restart to plan my attacks, especially when a tank is entrenched at level 10.
DV possible at turn 7. I stayed to capture cities, but got the second airways. Perhaps, the 8th turn is too late for the second airwave ?
Captured all VH of the map on turn 14.

UK, second part.
Concerning the date, it is quite surprising: July 7th, 1945.
Battle for Berlin was in May. That means that you was able to capture the whole west front and land in UK in barely two months ? Impressive...

Yeah i know. The reason is because of the vanilla e-file. Most units "expire" at the end of 1945. This version i wanted to keep things simple: no GME and thus no hassle whatsoever to install and play.

Two (little) things happend: In Dunkirk, there was a "phantom-tank" Char1..something (easy to kill) in the lower city-hex behind the fortifications. No unit-stats, no pic. Its possible that my PanzerCorps installation is confused about the daily use of GME. second note: It seems that some slovak untis loose their truck, I dont remember, after reinforcing or refuling or something else. In France suddenly they stand near bottom of the map without their truck. I did not use them in an air-transport and its impossible to move there in time without a car.
I "installed" the GTPG1.0 by placing it in the .."mygames/Panzer.../mods" folder AND via GME. This cant be the problem.

I finished Gibraltar. Heavy losses, but all core units survived (this will be expensive). Tomorow I will jump to Malta. I know the Malta-Scenario and how to handle from german_campaign or long war, I don´t remember.

After France (jusing the Paras late in the Scenario, because of french tank-reinforcements) I decided to cheat the Sealion40 scenario with endscn 2, I didnt want to see my loved core eliminated.
Very nice so far, especially the bonus-units from allied nations. The slovak volunteers dont fear anything. Unfortunaly they not upgradable and their time will come.

Very peculiar but i'll check Dunkirk and France. The issue of the slovak units might be caused that i did not assign Slovakia in the nation list for that scenario. You can keep the minor axis units or sell them for prestige at the deployment phase.
You do not need to load the mod into GME except when you use it in combination with the sound mod. Thanks for the feedback.

I loaded into GME additionaly, because I have in mind, that I read that this version need to loaded via GME. If the reason is the sound mod, thats make sense. To place in "mygames../mods".." worked too, for sure, but I tried to find out, what is the case of the tank. Was it bought by AI or preplaced or only in fantasy?
Selling my loyal volunteers with max exp.? they did so good work... :´(.

When at home I´ll look for a screenshot of the situation with the phantom-tank. But Nikivdd: Dont waste too much time for the investigation of these phenomenons. This are very small effects in relation to the campaign and possible caused by my PC-Installation or user-specific. :)

I think, I have to backup and destill my savegames and install a fresh version of Panzercorps.

Try to upgrade your volunteers at the next deployment phase with the transport selected. I didn't dismiss/sell my volunteers so quickly, especially if they were gifted with interesting heroes.
There will be more volunteers popping up from time to time ;).
Still i will check the tank issue, my first guess is that your efile is "different" but i'll see.

I didn't find a phantom CharB1 but the empty city hexes have been "filled". The AI will not be able to purchase new units in the beginning.
The problem about the slovakian truck is only guess work. The only recommendation is to refit the unit with a brandnew truck at the deployment phase of the next scenario.

Hello Nikivdd,

On the screeni you can see the empty hex with the combat prognosis. At this time i am fighting on crete and this phenomenon never happend again. I think, this is an artefact from some copy actions. We should ignore this. The slovak-Truck -losing is the same. Yesterday I tried to repeat the lost, but i was impossible. however one slovak Inf. got a movement-hero. Can this be the reason? If yes, its no problem, because my attack-heros didnt lose their guns while self-upgrading.

Yesterday was a hard day for my Corps, lost an exp. fighter on Malta because of no fuel and 1 Slovak + 1 Italian Infantry .

Thank you for your work, i cant wait to continue the campaign.

Malta is much smaller than the Balkans scenario but not necessarily easier. There might be some quirks with axis minor core units but i never encountered any problems. Luckily the transport is easily replaced.
I also have the feeling that you might be running the mod with another efile.

This should be interesting. My files don't change too much for 1939-1940, I would say the difficulty is slightly increased. In 1941-1942 the difficulty is moderately increased. In 1943 it is significantly increased. And after 1944, well, even the best players won't have an easy time.

GTPG v1.0 released, i took it out of the beta phase.

Latest changes:

- Briefings upscaled up to Moscow41
- Credits updated
- Scenario Narvik: 1 german destroyer changed from core to aux
- Scenario Dunkirk: few allied units added in the ports
- Scenario Netherlands44: few allied units substracted, few german aux added, allied prestige -75%

- Now compatibel with the unit mod from Mautschi and Churchy http://www.designmodproject.de/forum/vi ... 51&t=27688

I started on v2.0 , not the previews i posted earlier, i will do that one later and will be designated as v3.0 for veteran players.
I will start posting stuff soon. What i can reveal already - which wasn't possible for v1.0 - is that i am going to add scenario's against the Japanese.
I have plenty of time to do so, for i will also need the Afrika Korps tiles ;). V1.0 felt a bit awkward without north-africa scenario's in '41-'42.

The Command Vehicle is back...but this time with a purpose! You'll need it to search depots, call-in reinforcements, and on other occasions to gain a DV.
Reinforcements: move the Command Vehicle to the hex with $, the following turn the reinforcements will arrive on the hexes marked with B
Depot: move the Command Vehicle on a depot, the following turn useful units (capturable) might appear on the hexes marked with A

As before, the campaign will start with a "mission" to purchase units for your core. This version will contain a larger unit database.
