Great game. My leader died in the flank charge that rolled up his already shaky pike centre.

Division B result

rexhurley (Ancient British) 22/41 bt Gazatrix (Gupta Indian) 54/44 so it appears we will be feasting on some more mushy peas and pud rather than curry in a hurry in the foreseeable future

thanks for the game

These tables will help you identify which players you still have to play and they will tell you which matches we have received results for (at the time these tables are first posted). Just find your name in the left-hand column and read across the page to see your points won - empty boxes mean that we have not received a result for that match. These charts will also tally with the latest league tables posted in the results thread.

chris6 (Spartacus Slave Revolt, MF 73 – 71 BC) 41/47 beats
MikeMarchant (Principate Roman, early 25 BC – 99 AD) 39/34

What a game! The slaves had a brillinat start and went far in front just to get beaten hard in the middle of the fight. In the end it looked really good for the romans to get the upper hand just to turn around again when the slaves get some lucky blows on the back of some legions to finish the game. Thx for a great one Mike!

In Division B

Yuknoom's Highlanders 37-43 defeated gazxtrix' Anglo-Irish 44-44.

The Clansmen had been up by 16-18 most of the game, but a furious rally only fell wee short when a very fortunate roll avoided an almost certain draw on the next turn. Thanks for a tight contest.
