If you have the necessary knowledge and are reasonably well-versed in the setting of the Second World War, what’s stopping you from creating a sub-mod to correct the technical specifications of all these tanks, aeroplanes, guns, ships and so on? As I understand it, the developers of the great mod pack have taken extended leave and the project has been put on hold! It’s not even clear whether it will be developed any further....

Im not the addressee of this post, but since I initiated this thread I feel myself responsible to answer. And the answer is very simple - TIME. Also, Nobody says this mod (PAK MOD) is bad - its great, maybe even the best 'overhaul' mod that you can fidn for PzC. But on the other hand - for soviet units - its VERY unfair when you compare this to original PzC, other mods, or whole PG2/ OG legacy. As a sign/ symbol - you cant give 17 points of HA for 100mm gun and in the same time give 24 or 25 points for gun of 90mm with shorter barrel...

The main problem is in excessive Allied and unrealistic German unit's stats. You had already mentioned about M36, but there's also completely nonsense fire range = 3 for SiG sp-arty series and other examples of such kind.

You could argue about this forever! But what about firing range? The Tiger tank, for example, could reliably penetrate any Allied tank from 2.5 km away. However, not all tanks and self-propelled guns could penetrate the Tiger from 500 metres away ))) Similarly, the IS-2 could penetrate any German tank from 3 km, but its gun wasn’t a rapid-fire weapon. So this requires lengthy experimentation and weighing up all the pros and cons. And of course, it’s laughable to see how four Pz.Kpfw. 1 B tanks, armed with nothing but machine guns, can destroy the very same KV-1 or KV-2!

And don't roll the barrel too much. The m-36 is indeed one of the best tank destroyers)

You are 100% right. That's why in PG2 or PeG you have units with longer direct fire range - 2 hexes instead of 1. Ideal would be even 3 hexes (for modern ATGMs) of direct fire. But in PzC th designers decided to have only 1, or even 0 hexes of direct fire ...
Everything is relative, but if there’s something you don’t like—firstly, you can carry on putting up with this Russophobia towards Soviet technology; secondly, you can try to put it right—well, we at will support you )))

I agree, that’s not fair! So go for it )
Well, people don’t really reckon that the 90 mm gun was any worse than the 100 mm one. For example, the T-34-57 tank could penetrate enemy vehicles far more effectively, but there weren’t many of them, and for some reason it didn’t undergo further modernisation, unlike the T-34-76 ))) which were also manufactured at different factories ;)

Guns and tanks are all well and good, but for some reason, Soviet soldiers on certain sections of the front were forced to confront tanks bearing crosses with a bottle of petrol and a bundle of grenades. It was only later that anti-tank rifles and the 45 mm gun—which had the sarcastic nickname ‘Farewell, Motherland’—appeared.
