Recruitment seems to be almost complete now as new sign-ups are down to a trickle. I have one player who has entered five sections in error and I am waiting too find out which section he is going to drop. So that will be one vacancy to fill and there are still two vacancies in Early Middle Ages. Once those are filled we will only have reserve list places available right across the tournament. In the unlikely event that we get six reserves for a particular section before next weekend then I would open another division.

We have 53 players signed up so far and I received a PM from another new player yesterday and I hope he will join the tournament. It still means that we have 4 or 5 fewer players than last time. Quite a few of our regulars have decided not to enter this season while others seem to be entering fewer sections than usual. This almost certainly means that Classical Antiquity and Early Middle Ages will have one less division this time. The other three sections have maintained their numbers.

Hello,

Yes, there is one space left in Early Middle Ages. Just put your name in that thread with your four army choices (or just your name with "armies to follow"). You can also put your name down as a reserve in up to two more sections. Every season some of the reserves get a chance to play if someone drops out in the first couple of weeks.

Hi,

if possible, I would like to join in.

Ian

We now have enough for one pool of sixteen players. Anyone else signing up now will be considered a reserve unless we can reach 24 players. If this happens we will run two pools of 12 in this section.

We now have enough players to run two divisions in this section. Anyone else signing up will be a reserve unless we get up to 26 players. If this happens I will open a third division and recruitment will stay open until we reach 30 players even if this happens after the tournament has started. If you want to play in this section please add your name to the list.

OK, but you will be able to enter Classical Antiquity. If you put your name down in that thread with your armies you may still get a chance to play. If we get up to 36 players then I will run a fourth division and keep recruitment open until we get 40. We already have 34 and if you sign up it means I would only need to get one more. It is definitely worth a try if you want to play.

Edit: we now have 37 players in Classical Antiquity so there are still 3 places left.
