Div A
ianiow (Visigoth) 26/44 defeated Jonathan (Pict) 54/50
The Pict frontline could not hold out long enough for the two flank attacks to get around the Visigoth rear.

A message for players in Division D
LHaricot will be playing in this section and will be using the Later Teutonic, early (1300-1379) army.

Division D
MikeMarchant's Principate Romans - Early (10/31) beat Greyhunter's Ancient British (40/36)
A couple of unlucky turns for Grey ensured a win for the heavier Romans.
Grey was also unlucky in that over the past 3 months of playing this game I have taken Romans up against Ancient British many times with many different opponents so am probably more experienced at this match-up than any other.
Thanks for the game Grey.
Best Wishes
Mike

Divicion C
MikeMarchant's Nikephorian Byzantines (16/36) beat Bperezdelema's Ghaznavids (28/28)
As is often the case it was the centre that won the day, despite having a tough time on the flanks.
Bad luck, Bperezdelema, and thanks for the game.
Best Wishes
Mike

Pool A, Group C
Bouvines
Londo (French) 36/52 beat Cunningcairn (Angevins) 59/58
Poitiers
Londo (French) 16/48 beat Cunningcairn (English) 25/25
In Poitiers, I assembled the French knights together, and they attacked through the forest on the French left, and then swung round into the flank of the English position on the hill. The spearmen didn't do much. This was the only way I could see for the French to have a chance. Did anyone have a different strategy for the French which worked?
