It was a split battle I believe, so the Wehrmacht is still inside the gates but the the Soviet flag still flies on the Kremlin.

Correct. The Germans need to win in all battles on Objective cities (and the Soviets too for that matter).
Turn 5 is for all intents and purposes over so I'll be updating the Map and Situation shortly.

Understanding the new reactor and initiator rules, Germans go first by outlining their divisions on each front and then I place the Generals?

How about a summery of the wins and loses in a list

I believe you are correct....can't verify just now and the German FM seems to be MIA...perhaps he's been captured!

Good call, I'll need to have a closer look at the outcomes anyway to determine the ordering sequence for the next turn. I'll be updating the map later today as well.
Thanks for your patience folks.

No worries, a couple of turns left...and there appears to be openings in the German army (historical irony)...I've plugged you into reserve for now.
Welcome aboard!

Ok, so I've managed to post the results from Turn 5 on the map.
Still haven't heard from the German FM, so if no comms happen by the end of the weekend, I'll assume command and will issue orders at that time so we can progress.

Ok, as acting German FM (hope Morge is ok, just busy), I've posted the forces for the coming battles.
Over to the Soviet FM for his reply.

Not to grind on this but how about the Germans get full use of their 150mm gun this round. The Russians have been mauling us on a regular basis.

That makes me wonder: what weapons each kind of Division can use? I mean, the Germans, for example, have:
Panzer Div.
SS Div.
Inf. Div.
(and maybe more Divs.)
Each one must have access to different weaponry, right? How can we know what is available to each one?
Thanks!

Just a thought, but because the Soviet centre front is still cut off, should it not be at a -200 point disadvantage now? -100 each round that is cumulative? Seems that the longer an army group is cutoff the more dire the situation becomes?
Also according to the map all SS divisions have been destroyed I believe.

There used to be a PDF file on the first page that had it all outlined. Don't know if its there anymore.

Then it should not make an overwhelming difference if the Germans get to fight with what the game gives them. Seems to me most of the effort to weaken the 15cm comes from the first round in which it played a large part, however the Russian units ( line units) were very weak in that round.

I thought we did change the 15cm back to every turn but altered its accuracy rating?
