Hm. Hope he's alright.

Chris is probably taking a break. His mod is a giant task, and to nobody's surprise, a break is most welcome if his spare time went into the editor for such a long period.

I saw this site, always going in a very nice theme.such matters is very difficult to find many great subject now is really nice, but I really liked your forum.

I would welcome Chris back and understand the break and hiatus he would need from this task. I was only a scratch the surface modder in the lightest sense, and I needed a break to get me back. But the lure is one that is very difficult to put down eventually. When Chris comes back, he will have drank his Sangria and eaten his cheese and be ready for action I think.

Now that I'm playing the 1941 scenario on PBEM, I'm wondering if it wouldn't be easier to set up the map for multiplayer first and use the player feedback to improve and expand towards single player. It would probably save a lot of AI unit behaviour scripting and avoid reworking too much.

I love the idea to use unique units in the e-file, as "super-heros" representing specific squadrons for the air force or Regiments for ground units.

I understand a break is necessary for such a huge project, after all life other than Pz Corps prevails no ?

The effort and hard work that Chris put into this mod is really quite a bit more than most of us can even comprehend (and that is an understatement). As for me, it would have been the ultimate mod for the game as it is based entirely in the East and it is accurate and thorough. I surely miss seeing the updates that Chris used to post on the forum and I truly hope that he will return one day to complete the monumental task he began and that only he can complete. What Chris was making was the supreme version of the War in the East (I only made 20 something maps and never made a campaign). I do appreciate what he did and contributed even if unfinished at this point.

It is such a shame that this mod was abandoned. It really promised a lot. While nothing has been released up to this day, many original ideas of Chris10 eventually find their way to the Battlefield: Europe MOD.

I really hope that one day Chris' mod will see a release, however, as time passes chances are getting lower and lower...
