Some brilliant miniatures which, oddly enough, can represent more than just early 20th-century soldiers )))

Small comment about the Greek flag in this campaign: in 1920 they would have mainly used the old white cross centred on dark blue (these days the "army" flag only). The modern stripy one was usually only used as a naval ensign.

The Greek flag in general has gone through several redesigns, especially with the colour tone for the blue.

These are the final scenarios of the campaign, a total of 18.
I'm currently working on scenario 17.

Ashes of Empire — Panzer Corps için Yeni Bir Senaryo Serisi

Ashes of Empire — A New Campaign Series for Panzer Corps

Ashes of Empire is a campaignfor Panzer Corps that explores the rise of a new nation in the turbulent early 20th century.
Rather than focusing on the well-known battlefields of World War II, this campaign dives into lesser-known but deeply compelling conflicts—wars where improvisation, limited resources, and political uncertainty shaped the outcome as much as battlefield tactics.
The first campaign, set during the Turkish War of Independence (1919–1922), places you in command of a struggling national movement rising from the remnants of the Ottoman Empire. Facing foreign intervention, internal unrest, and severe logistical constraints, you must transform irregular forces into a disciplined army capable of decisive victory.
Ashes of Empire is not just about conquest—it’s about survival, adaptation, and the birth of a nation.

Panzer Corps

Ashes of Empire —

It’s great to see the unit roster expanding, as the more different units there are, the more varied your tactics and strategy can be! But I’m really looking forward to the Turkish campaign!!!

Very interesting. I'm glad you are looking at the WW2 setting again. If you want to make other campaigns that follow a particular unit, you might want to consider the Soviet 62nd Army, later 8th Guards Army, which will take you through all the major southern front battles from Stalingrad (most famously) to Berlin (almost equally famously).

I'm trying to think of equivalent stories for British units. Obviously there is the 7th Armoured but that's basically the Allied Corps campaign minus extra bits like Taranto. The 1st Free French Division is a better possibility and marginally ties with your Lost Spring campaign though it's more accurate (and interesting?) to start with Norway and then move to West Africa-Syria-Bir Hakeim-El Alamein-Tunisia-Italy-Provence. It's an interesting thread of operations, but would probably be better if in true loose Panzer General style you incorporate it with a wider (and more ahistorical) French campaign that continues from the Lost Spring and includes all the other interesting Free French battles ,from the Normandie squadron in the East, to the 2nd Armoured Division in 1944-5.

Researching all that is definitely very hard work, so I'm not sure how practical it is. Thanks as ever for your continuing mod work.
