Very nice idea. More of that.
Personally, I am also trying to work on a possible fictional mini campaign... let's see what comes of it.
Great work from you, keep it up.
Thank you very much for the kind words, Vukodlak. Yes, I’ve seen that you’ve created an impressive list of unit graphics. I’m sure we can develop a little story and campaign out of that. Exactly – let’s see what comes of it.
In the meantime, here’s an alien creature free for everyone to use.

At the moment, it looks like our community is getting a fresh boost of energy thanks to the help of various modders. It’s really great to see that happening.
And perhaps the most persistent and loyal fan of this game is probably BondJamesBond.

Hummer as a stationary firing point in Afghanistan !Unusual decision to place vehicles, apparently broken down, on observation towers along with machine guns).

Originally planned as a standalone scenario, it has since evolved into a mini-campaign.
Story: Russian troops land near Ashington, England, in 2027. The player plays on the defending side. Available for download soon.

Thanks, I'll have that. I've reworked the first mission several times because it was too difficult at the beginning. Now the player can either stick to the script and retreat to the new line on turn 7, or remain in the old defensive position and continue fighting there.
Yes, in mission 2, you shouldn't leave your positions too quickly, because the Russian troops have a little surprise waiting for them.

When I design a new landing mission, I'll give the computer more options for landing its troops. I saw in the replay that the player arrived at the landing zone too early in Mission 1. In the first version of this mission, the enemy was vastly superior, so I considered it too difficult and removed several units.

Once the Clock Tower is recaptured, you'll receive 400 prestige points. I think it's crucial not to suffer too many losses in the first two missions so that the units and heroes remain intact. These are especially important in mission 3. At least, that's how it was in my test.

If you've already watched my replay, you saw that I captured the tower, but all my prestige went to healing and upgrading units. This is an offensive mission, but I don't have superiority over the defenders. So my 300 Spartans launched an attack on a massive horde all by themselves.
