Not pushing Jon but when will we see teh other battles for June 7?
Thanks!
I'm seeing two battles set up by you on Nov.25 but they both appear as "Unknown Custom Scenario." Are the Vimont scenarios different? I have downloaded the latest map pack that contains the 5 June 7 battles.
I'll create a map for Vimont, pass "Vimont" maybe you can join there?
Also creating a map for Gold, pass "Gold".

kingt wrote:Hey everyone,
Sorry about the late reply, I've been mostly offline this weekend. I have just agreed on the Allies forum to be the interim Allied commander at least until June 7 is over, so for a few more weeks as there are quite a few battles ahead. We'll talk more and iron out the details in the meantime.
I have just downloaded the map pack above after deleting my old scenarios, so I'm ready for fighting. By tomorrow we'll also have a commander for Caen.
Great to have you back on board KT.
The Allies have an excellent commander.

Glad the 'lomos' worked so we can keep the campaign snowballing. I'm having a blast playtesting!
Good to see you back in action KingT. I think we're all in for a good game.

Yep, your "lomo" squads.csv solution is the bees knees... Thanks Mac!
Great to see KingT back in action too...

Gents,
Try to avoid the temptation to pre-play your own battles, but here are the "aerial recons" for the 8 scenarios available with the June 7th GJS'44 update...

I have selected my units but there is one small issue that should be corrected: when selecting units, I have 9 pre-selected, which is logical, and I must add 16 more to reach my 25 quota for the battle. But I have 2000 to spend on them which means I could add 20 + 9.
I have only selected 16 units so I have 16+9 and 400 unspent.
If you want to cancel this one and restart another one after the map is updated that's fine by me. We can also continue with this one, and I'll provide screenshots to GMs with my force selection so they can see I didn't add more than 25 units.

Good spot KT, I'll fix the master file for the .CPF.
No need to restart tho. If u only took 25, Alex only has 16 in his pool, so he can't choose more than that...
Good luck guys. Remember to leave us some AARs...

Thanks for playing fair, I certainly wouldn't have noticed.

We're still trying to determine that, and by tomorrow we'll have an answer and the battle started.

Jon, am playing against a opponent from another forum that is good. He is interested in GJS'44. As we move forward, if we have some open spots he would like to play. His furom name is 'cavehobbit'

Sure, go ahead and bring Cavehobbit on. Cool nick btw.
Allies now have KingT, Random27, Jcb989 & iProp... that's quite a formidable line up.
I suspect Axis could use some experienced firepower to add to the team?
Wish Gort would come back and join you guys.
Good luck gentlemen...

Gold is done, Alex will probably post the results. I just wanted to note that 857/346 had an extra Puma in their roster, which shouldn't have been there, and was responsible for their only kill during the game. I only realized it later in the game when counting kills and known enemy positions.

Thanks kingt, apologies for the Puma - we will need to be much more astute in counting force mix units as you have already demonstrated. Again, apologies.
Alex, will as per protocol, publish the results.
